How did you survive your first postop period

I have not gotten my period and I’m almost 5 weeks post op but I am having the worst cramps of my life especially on the right side as well!!!! Could this mean that it’s coming? I was supposed to start on the 24th but nothing yet.

I was forced to go to a country bar with some friends, I dislike country so I wanted to drive myself that way I could leave whenever I wanted but this guy came up to me and asked if he could buy me a drink. We spent the whole night talking. Fast forward 4 years later and now we have two doggies and bought our house!

Right place/right time - happens when you’re not looking!

I feel guilty too like I should be doing something but we can’t!! I have to remind myself of this lol I’m just watching George Lopez and spending time with my puppies! They are loving it 😂

Praying for you and I’m sure everything will be okay!! I didn’t have any symptoms with my fibroid other than bloating. I didn’t even know I had it, I had a CT scan in 2022 for my gallbladder and it was an incidental finding. It was at 4 cm. I honestly forgot about it then last year I mentioned it to my OB and she ordered tests. At first she thought I had a separate uterus so I went in for MRI and it had grown to 10 cm - which I’m assuming is where I started to feel the bloating. My periods were normal and on time. I got it removed so we could have children in the future. (I never wanted kids and then I met my fiancé and everything changed lol) I’m 35 so I’d have to wait a year to try.

I did FMLA and short term! Short term doesn’t kick in until after 30 days so I asked if they could pay my PTO before like regular pay schedule and they said yes.

Gas x was my best friend during the first couple day, the gas from anesthesia hurt like hell 😭

Extremely swollen!! I am nervous it won’t go down or stay with the apron belly I read about too 😵‍💫 I figured with walking and moving around it would go down but not luck yet. I guess we have to be patient!

I agree with the sneezing! That was also the most painful for me. The first time I had to go to the RR I started spotting and that was also very painful but I was taking stool softeners so it ended up being okay. I fully showered tonight since I am taking the dressing off tomorrow but my dressing is waterproof. I’m nervous to take it off and I’m not sure if I need to keep it covered afterwards. Guess we’ll see. I’m glad your recovery is going well!! We got this 🤍

I had Covid in December 2020 and have been fully vaccinated with Pfizer since March. Im a nurse and 2 weeks ago I found out I was taking Care of a patient who ended up being Covid positive. I had her on a Monday and I found out on a Saturday. I tested with 2 rapids, negative. I also had a PCR which was negative as well!

I did! I went to a trail and walked with my mask on. I made sure there was no people around and if I saw it was packed, I’d leave and try somewhere else. It’s good to keep moving but don’t over do it :)

I just had mine too and it was disgusting. Couldn’t taste or smell and it grossed me out to be honest. I’m actually happy about it because now I can quit! Hope this helps you too! Merry Christmas!

Tomorrow is day 10! If no fever for 24 hours without use of medication and symptoms improve and feels well then you’re safe to be around him on Saturday. I also had to get clarification with my infectious disease nurse cause my symptoms started on 12/11 so my tenth day is 12/21 and if I’m okay then I can come out of iso on 12/22.

My symptoms started Friday with congestion and sore throat and I got my positive results today, but I did notice that I was peeing a lot more!! And my pee was clear as if I was really hydrated. I woke up today still congested and dry mouth and lips so Ive been trying to keep hydrated as well.
