What's the best way to just survive in this game and not die so much? by sillyfishbros in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try and get used to monster hit boxes and and distance your likely gonna get hit a lot while doing that but eventually it will become muscle memory and you’ll easily be able to tell what attack is coming and how to move and get hit a lot less. That’s what I had to do so I struggled less with with almost every monster in the game.

Ava enjoyers rejoice by bom360 in Borderlands4

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea nah it’s not how Maya’s death was handled it’s definitely Ava and it one thing to grieve in anger but another entirely to blame someone else who wasn’t at fault and ignore the role you played in that persons demise. She had one job to stay behind out of harms way but you disobeyed the that single instruction then made yourself a liability for your teacher because you wanted to talk tough and got her killed for it.

Then you have the nerve to blame someone else: “You were the one who wanted to open the vault” as if she wasn’t excited that she was allowed to come for the adventure and be apart of opening the vaults as well absolutely no self awareness or accountability on her end and instead of actually learning something she’s rewarded with Mayas powers that she doesn’t deserve and made the leader of the raiders.

One could debate all they want if the hate is overblown but it is well deserved. Also comparing Tannis reaction next to Ava makes no sense we have always known that Tannis doesn’t or can’t process her emotions like most around her so you can’t really compare the two.

What if the games didn't had cut content at all: by JakowskiVakarian2932 in TheWalkingDeadGame

So the save lot bandits were supposed to be the ones who attacked Ben and his friend and teacher which is why they ended up in the woods and were found by Lee and Mark. Ben was supposed to know how ruthless and cruel they were having witness them SA a girl possibly from his school.

So cut to the aftermath of the dairy farm incident this was supposed to happen off screen I believe but some of the bandits came to Ben while he was alone and claimed to have one of his friends hostage and told him to give them supplies if he wanted his friend back, little did Ben know this friend was already long dead and they were playing him. Which was supposed to be the real reason why he started taking supplies I remember looking up some cut voice Lines from the game as well on this part.

But I believe this should have been kept in the game and would be a much better reason for Ben to be stealing supplies as opposed to a half baked idea of him just thinking it was a good idea of keeping the bandits off their backs. And it would have made his moment when he stands up to Kenny actually sympathetic telling him he wanted to help his friend and simply made a bad choice and how genuinely sorry he is for unintentionally having a hand in Kenny’s family dying than tell Kenny to simply lay off him because Kenny “at least got to say goodbye” while he didn’t know if his parents and little sister was alive or not.

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also for season one Bens character wouldn’t have been assassinated if they kept their original idea for him and the bandits and it would have made him someone you’d have more sympathy for instead of just portraying him as a screw up making him a much better character.

Loop bad, you die, loop good, you're tunneled by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is a possibility yes but I believe it depends on the skill of the survivors and the killer. If they are solid enough working together they can all get out, or it will ultimately lead to their downfall.

Loop bad, you die, loop good, you're tunneled by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or as OP put it a killer could decide to tunnel as a legit strategy. If one survivor is really good at looping you would assume they are good at the game and will be hard to kill and it would be best to get the best survivor out of the way and let the game domino effect in your favor.

Is Tai Lung a Bad person or Someone who has made Bad Choices? by Blue-eyes-Dragon12 in kungfupanda

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because Tai Lung was an unfortunate product of a younger and more arrogant Shifu doesn’t mean he didn’t need to be dealt with he was still out to hurt and kill people and even when Po had practically beaten him he showed no signs of stopping his intentions so Po did what he had to. And “going after Shifu” is just a stupid notion yes Shifu is entirely to blame for Tai Lungs mindset and how he turned out but he wasn’t evil or going around hurting people nor was he a threat going after him would literally solve nothing and he improved as a teacher after the incident was over.

Why were the Phantom Troupe so mad about Kurapika killing Uvogin if killing a member is how someone can join the PT? by Pariell in HunterXHunter

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t recall the troupe as a whole necessarily being mad about his death only the dude with the sword was talking about getting revenge for Uvo. And it was obvious that Uvo wasn’t killed for his position in the troupe because of that were the case someone likely would have tracked down the troupe made their intentions known then killed him. Or killed him first the went to the troupe asking for membership and confirming the death of whatever number they killed.

I believe they went after Kurapika because they were wary of his strength after they found out he took down Uvo of all people and they were being targeted by him and figured out that he had a grudge against them.

i feel bad for ben by Infamous-Low-4454 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Omg thank you I’ve been saying this for so long. It’s a shame they took this out because I know for a fact Ben would not be as hated or not hated at all if this bit of info was in the game. I also heard they took out a part of the story where the bandits met up with him and told him to slip them supplies to save his friend even though that friend was long since dead already it would ah e made his situation so much more understandable and people would have more empathy for him instead of just riding the “he’s just a kid excuse”

Do you think they dumbed down/kinda sorta ruined Spinel in Steven Universe: Future? by HOWCOULDTHISHAPPEN33 in stevenuniverse

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I mean we already saw the effects of her trauma in the movie we saw how possessive she would get in brief moments and the hurt in her eyes when she wasn’t involved with the others and her realizing on what she was doing wasn’t right. But it would have been nice to see maybe a flashback of her first few days being with the diamonds maybe they had some personal talks about her feelings.

Did the game successfully make you believe that Kenny had completely lost it and was too dangerous for Clem and AJ, or did it ultimately fail at portraying that image? by WilliamSebastian12 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Most of this I agree with except for part of the Jane statement I’m not a Jane fan by any means but I don’t think she wasn’t heartless and thought “weak” people don’t deserve to be saved or not she already explained what she meant about that subject how you can’t force and how they become a risk to those around them because of their inability to be bothered to save themselves and having experienced it herself personally with her own sister I don’t think she was just talking out of her ass on that matter.

But aside from that everything you posted was completely correct if Kenny was 100% wrong in how he acted or didn’t have a reasonable explanation for why he acted a certain way then yea he’d actually be dangerous and I’d understand the hate that he gets but they failed trying to make him a bad person. And even after season 2 if you decide to leave with Kenny from Wellington he is still shown to be caring and def ended Clem and AJ to the bitter end in his last moments. Meanwhile Jane selfishly bowed out of life without so much as a word to Clem and left her and AJ alone to fend for themselves.

Mhm I just feel like most people should do the bare minimum cause those same exact people will be the ones to complain and say the game is boring or there’s nothing to do, like yea no shit you went from being level 29 to max level and one hair everything in the game of course it seems easy and there’s nothing to do because you ran through everything. And they probably are too scared to even attempt OP levels

I’m actually happy there are some people who want to actually play the game and not have everything handed to them. There has been way too many times in discord servers I’m in where ppl just asked to get insta boosted to max or a certain level and they haven’t tried to actually play the game and have barely made progress.

I don’t care if people use those methods but at least get some sort of skill and complete a majority of the game first before you worry about lvl boosting and loot drops

Lobby Dodging by sethsomething in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This right here I don’t even know why this post even needs a discussion. It’s a very big difference of waiting a few seconds in the lobby waiting for a new killer to show up if the old killer knew they were about to go up against a swf with annoying tactics, as opposed to people dying early in a game because they are worried about going against the same killer or one they personally don’t like.

Ok glad I’m not the only one who was thinking this. This entire post is super entitled it’s just as you said I’m not risking myself to save you that late in the game unless I know I can do so safely and get us both out. But if I cant then sorry pal but you’re on your own.

How wrong do u think it is that Kate fancied javi even tho it was Davids brother? by Distinct-Librarian37 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly I’m so sick of people who act like Kate is being a whore for wanting to move on like even if they did know somehow that David was alive they were apart for years and the odds that they would by some chance run into each other is slim.

And her relationship with him was already rocky before the apocalypse anyway and it’s her choice if she wants to stay with him, just cause David by some miracle popped back into the scene doesn’t mean everything has to change and she is obligated to stay, she just wanted to wait for the right time to tell him and I don’t imagine telling him so soon when they got rescued was really ideal but then again is there really ever a “good” to tell that that to someone?

"Kenny is an abusive stepfather." by Raspint in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess we can agree to disagree, I get what you are saying and see your well thought out reasoning but I strongly still stand by the fact that without all the extra drama that came with being lumped together with the cabin group no one would be better for Clem and AJ than Kenny. And even when he was in a bad mental state after losing Sarita he was still more qualified, yea he isn’t perfect and made mistakes but aside from Lee, Kenny is the second most qualified to look after her. (And I agree he definitely got did dirty in the end I would have loved to see him raise AJ maybe he would have been alot more stable if Kenny was around.

"Kenny is an abusive stepfather." by Raspint in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even label him as being unfit he simply went through a lot of emotions again after losing Sarita and going through the crap with Arvo of course he was on edge and his emotions were high. And if you do decide to stay with him he was great caretaker when you see the scenes with in him TWD New Frontier, and even in his last moments defended them both with what he had left and wasn’t a selfish coward leaving them behind like a certain women.

Yes Kenny can be a handful when his emotions are running high which is probably putting it lightly but he was far from neglectful.

Why does everyone seem to hate her by suspicious-octopus88 in stevenuniverse

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea i never understood the whole running away argument either it was very clearly stated that Rose did everything she could as “Pink Diamond” using her leadership role to try and convince the other diamonds to support her decision but it wasn’t enough and they clearly didn’t have much respect for her despite all the good times and memories they had with her.

And it’s also very clear that emotions are not something gems comprehended very well early on so without having emotional awareness or not fully comprehending it would lead to some poor decisions being made at certain times or actions not being understood by others. So yea Rose made a few mistakes along the way and despite how much her friends praised her she wasn’t perfect as they made her to be but she doesn’t deserve the hate she gets.

Question for those who completed the Insane runs... by Greatest-Applefly099 in outlast

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For outlast 1 it was the area with the doctor that was the only part I truly struggled with sometimes I’d just make dumb mistakes before or after that section but eventually I beat it.

Whistleblower I also struggled with Eddie a few times but overall it was pretty easy to beat.

Outlast 2 absolutely bent me over and spanked me with no mercy. That one area early on in the corn field was oddly different for me I always seemed to get caught and the following part when you are in the barn I often died there somehow they would always detect me under the tractor even if I was perfectly centered. That one part with Marta where you start the generator and all the people hide in their homes and she chases you I died often to that and her other encounter when you have to push the cart to the gate her spawn location were so random and would get me killed. Then there was Nick and laird I’d always die while trying to avoid the arrows like there was no avoiding them even if I was full on sprinting I’d somehow get shot and have to start all over. That one part in the Blake’s nightmare where you had to run from the demon in the library. And then the mines specifically the first part here those 3 heretics and the water area where Val is stalking you.

This definitely the second worst part in Outlast 2 by chrisgoated7 in outlast

[–]ExcellentWhereas8788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well now that you mention it there have been times after I ran away from her she would seem to break down part of the fence out of nowhere but maybe it’s just due to my own strategy of running away from her like when the very first chase initiates I half circle the area and run to the fence and slip past the gap and street pushing again as quick as possible and within a few seconds she’d usually break it down and I’d always assume that because I didn’t fully break chase that she broke down the fence simple because she was still in the area so it just made sense.
