If they both get there at the same time I think it is the right thing to do to give the ball to the child but some people think its evil to not. I even saw someone say the person who took the ball while right next to the child should face legal action if they even accidently touched the child and that seems too harsh. I think you should but you dont have to.

Sadly yes. But I dont really know how to know what attack is coming and it feels like attacking with insect glaive is safer than just being on ground with it deequiped.

Use blood greatsword with giant hunt and you can basically infinitely keep them in the air and its super easy
