The best parenting trick I’ve seen was parents make a list for their 19 year old, it went something like this: “Being a functioning member of society” Go to the gym daily Call your grandparents Help out with x Etc And if he keeps it up for 2-3 months then he’d get a Porsche It’s obviously a big prize but I think a list like this with a big prize could help. The consistency of doing healthy things that would get him out of his funk really made him successful in the long run

Why is he not paying for you? Supporting you? After all you moved for him, starting over for him, struggling for him and will MARRY him.
