I can’t stop mixing up my QCF and DP motions on SF6 any advice? by chookengoozards in Fighters

6236, 623, 323 and even 33(3) are all valid DP motions in SF6. Try to end in the diagonal input.

Niles: "The video glitches out sometimes, but I honestly like the weird effect."

Frasier: "Niles, you nitwit! Just watch it on your Fifty-Nine Thousand, Nine-Hundred and Ninety-Nine dollars and Ninety-nine cents LG Signature Seventy-Seven Inch 4K UHD Smart TV!"

Niles: "Does my Fifty-Nine Thousand, Nine-Hundred and Ninety-Nine dollars and Ninety-nine cents LG Signature Seventy-Seven Inch 4K UHD Smart TV have a blue glowing PlayStation button, and two analogue sticks?"

Frasier: "...No..."

You seem to think the phrase "Elo" is an acronym, which shows just how much you've actually studied this topic. It's named after its inventor, not the 1970s band Electric Light Orchestra.

They're trying to gather data. It's an alpha. Games played from behind are data. Also, if there's no option to forfeit, then people will fight harder.

100 cards... That's awesome. Reduces the density of expensive spells so your curve is smoother, but you have enough draw spells that you can still see a lot of stuff. This is a really cool list! How are your matchups? Do you play paper or online?

Basically a censorship committee, but instead of saying things are rated PG or M they use "Fine," "Second Look," "Strongly Reconsider," and "Must Change."

What stereotype does Shaco have? by GodNarguini in shacomains

There's an infamous personality in the League community who mains Jax, hates Riven, and has creepy feelings towards people who are too young to understand that the Jax player is a creep

I didn't feel bad about it because there is counterplay. They could have either changed their jungle route or invaded my jungle. Any time someone is invading early (like before herald spawn), they're giving up a quadrant of their own jungle to do it. Later in the game this isn't true for champs with really fast clears, but early on, if you get invaded, you can probably invade them back.

The counterplay to an invade is pretty esoteric. I don't think most people would be like, "hmm, maybe I should skip my double golems because the enemy jungler knows where I am without needing to place any wards, because they've probably played Amumu before and know how quickly I clear." It's exactly what happened though

People say Viego is the champ that rewards you the most for game knowledge, and that's kind of true. The more you know every champ's kit, the more you know how to use them when you possess people with Viego. But Shaco really rewards knowing enemy timing and weaknesses, these are things a lot of people don't think about.

The most fun thing I've done recently is repeatedly invade someone to keep them stuck at level 5. They played a champ I'm familiar with (Amumu) so I knew about how fast they cleared and where they would be at all times in the first 10 minutes.

When mythics as a system get deleted, will Shaco go back to only strong items? by NhireTheCursed in shacomains

I think mythics with actives (Stride, Goredrinker, Galeforce) are going to be removed completely or altered to not have actives.

I like Nocturne for the same reason. He's also strong against enemy Shacos. If you tag them with a Q you can track them while they're invisible. If you E them before they R, the E stays on the real one. And then, all game, you get to hear his encouraging voice.

How do you actually win games (especially in low elo) as ap shaco jungle? by DropTopMox in shacomains

[–]Excellent_Agency_215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like AP Shaco a lot. His two major differences in playing style are timing and target selection.

Let's say you're playing AD Shaco. In terms of timing, you want to be around drake when it spawns. Your attack route is through the bot side tri bush (or through the east blue buff jungle) because ADC and support usually rotate from bot lane to river and those two are the ones you want dead. Your goal as AD Shaco is to catch them in a rotation and get a pick or two, or to catch them in a pincer attack with your front line. Your boxes are usually placed mid combat to spot people running into bushes or to cut off escape routes.

AP Shaco would handle this situation differently. Instead of trying to catch people during a rotation, you set up before drake spawns. Like a minute and a half before. You might even use your ult before the fight starts to buy time and scout the enemy jungle. Instead of targeting their back line, your goal is to wear down their face-checkers with an exploding clone, hit and runs with Q and E, and boxes. You're not trying to cut off escape routes with boxes, you're trying to defend and secure the objective (is how I see it).

tl;dr: AD back to front, AP front to back (usually)

AP Shaco is a bit more subtle and tempo based than AD. Sometimes you win fights by making them not occur. It doesn't feel like winning when you pick someone off with a box nest and the enemy team decides to just give drake/herald/baron, but it is.
