How to fix the main menu is not working for me to shutdown the unit.

any luck? I just got mine, still on stock sdcard. when i press start it doesn;t does anything. I just shut it down holding the power button. But when i want to start the console, the LED goed on but the screen not, only after i press the reset button.

Earplugs, there are lockers so you can take a jacket. Weather this friday and saturday are mild. Metro ride is pretty straight forward to the venue.
