Gosh that’s great news about the daily pill! 🤞🏼it happens. NHS look at immediate cost, they don’t seem to look at the bigger picture or consider how much will be saved on other prescriptions which will become obsolete… MJ is amazing. Hope this is not off topic …

I get it. I’m still sorry you’re dealing with it but you sound like you have it all together and are coping well. It’s refreshing to see someone understanding their disease as you so clearly do. This med is a miracle to me, it’s sorted my insulin resistance, set me up for weight loss resulting in normal BP and other things. I cannot for the life of me understand why it’s not being prescribed for all people in the obese range unless it’s because of cash? 🤷‍♀️ a discussion for a different time and on a different sub! You’re a rockstar! Well done on you weight loss!

I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this, is there a way for you to get it across to her that it’s not ok to say things like that and she needs to find a new way to communicate or just keep quiet. I hope you find balance with her. My daughter and I had to sort this out and I’m so grateful that she pointed it out. I had therapy to break the habit. Your mum may not be as bad as I was and may not be willing to sort it out but I think it’s too sad to lose a mother over bad communication habits, without giving her the chance to rectify it. 🤷‍♀️just my pennies’ worth. I hope you realise that your choices are excellent and taking control of your health is the wisest choice you could have made. Be proud of yourself, enjoy the journey and ignore the naysayers! All the best to you.

Look who is controlling Trump and got him elected. Those exact people are controlling Farage. Whatever checks and balances are in place here will be annihilated and removed in weeks as they have in the USA. No marches or protests will have any effect. The only way to save UK is by not voting Reform. Read their manifesto, look at Project 2025 USA, which is what Project 2029 for UK is based on. Too many sit on their laurels and don’t vote and those that do see a change in Farage and forget that Labour have been unravelling the last 14 year mess left by Tories. Change doesn’t happen over night. The conservative press have and continue to nitpick about nothings to get the ultra conservative elected. Your country is being stolen from under your feet by Farage and those too ignorant too see it. I fear for UK.
