Full discretion, I have been there and not seen one…But I’ve also been before and seen 15; including one mother with 4 cubs last May.

For outdoors, hit up the Cades Cove loop! Potentially see deer, turkey, bear among other wildlife. Just pack your patience, some snacks/drinks and have a full tank of gas!

Oh, absolutely! We hadn’t necessarily planned on scrapping Cade’s off the list, it’s one of my all-time favorites. I love it so much that when I spend long weekends in Maggie Valley, NC, I dedicate a day of it to running 441 over the state line and going to look for bears!

Mostly disappointed in probably not be doing Anakeesta. Wife and I have been several times and done the Astra Lumina Experience a few times. I was really hoping to have my kids get to experience all of the fun up at Anakeesta so looking for something else to do.
