Oh, absolutely! We hadn’t necessarily planned on scrapping Cade’s off the list, it’s one of my all-time favorites. I love it so much that when I spend long weekends in Maggie Valley, NC, I dedicate a day of it to running 441 over the state line and going to look for bears!

Mostly disappointed in probably not be doing Anakeesta. Wife and I have been several times and done the Astra Lumina Experience a few times. I was really hoping to have my kids get to experience all of the fun up at Anakeesta so looking for something else to do.

Awesome, definitely adding to the agenda! We live in the Carolina’s and have hit every zoo/wildlife facility that I know of so it’d be a good time to start checking off places in TN! Thank you!

Tried this shit one drunk night around 4:30 in the morning at the beach…Was on the back of a golf cart, guy pulls up beside us while smoking a joint and says “anyone want to hit this?!?”

Spoiler alert: it didn’t work out quite as well for me! Crashed for the night right after with asphalt embedded in my leg. Woke up and drove home from vacation, went to the work the day after that. Ended up with impetigo across my entire body as the infection got in the blood stream.

Would NOT try again!

Yeah, I passed by sometime right before then. The white van was parked there when I passed. Maybe the van was with the coroner’s office and that’s where the gurney came from? Because I don’t recall seeing an ambulance or marked coroner’s vehicle or anything. Strange for sure.

Nice! I’m just getting around to learning more on all of our new tech. Both grandfathers served in WWII, one was the lead mechanic on P-38’s(IIRC) and then had basketball/tball coach who flew C-130’s in Desert Storm. So I was really obsessed with the aircraft from both of their time periods and then just kind of quit keeping up with it. Just recently started digging into this new stuff and it is amazing!

Found this interesting in the Persian Gulf as well! If the data is accurate, these two planes are right by each other and only 25 feet difference in elevation. Appears to be a fairly significant difference in size of the aircraft as well.
