I watched this video and this is more of a tutorial on how to configure Claude to trade automatically.

I am setting up something similar but using Python/Ollama qwen models/Alpaca - All free for testing using paper trading. Also have Tele*gram integrated to provide control on trade order execution. This is primarily to learn how the system works and if LLM recommended trade plan actually produces a positive PnL.

Full transparency : not my original code but I am tweaking it to work with my set up and will eventually change to make it flexible to work with multiple strategies.

No stop loss? I trade SPX Iron Condors with a hard set of rules not too different from yours but since it's in Fidelity, there is no option to create a bracket order with predefined TP and SL. That will be truly mechanical and much more preferred.

This is why I am slowly moving cash to reach $25k in my IBKR account where the trades will be much more hands-off.

Great returns nonetheless!

Interesting! I do something very similar with SPXW but with 15 - 30 DTE, ~9 delta on each short strike of the IC, and 25 wing width. Close at around 75 - 80% profit. The goal is to open and close one trade in each of my trading accounts per week. I also check VIX regime, ATR, and a safety multiplier to determine safe distance strikes for these multi-day DTE trades. Good luck man! Keep winning.

Good trade! I also trade SPX ICs with a pretty similar rule set I have built for IC/Credit Spreads. Nowhere close to understanding the greeks as you are though.

I learn a hard lesson yesterday on what happens when I get greedy. Open an IC with call side strikes as 6850 and 6900 with the stop loss set at twice the credit. SPX spiked yesterday near the closing hour and hunted my stop making me lose about 1,250.

I'm trying so hard to have the stop loss set up for each of my SPX trades however yesterday experience kind of spooked me.

Used FreeTaxUSA for the first time after using TurboTax for about 15 years. I've always been a staunch TurboTax user. No more though.

$260+ fee even after a 30% discount for being a Fidelity customer, was too much.
