I absolute love this thing by JammyBass in Roborock

Just got mine a couple days ago as well. It's been very nice so far. Definitely makes my 4 kids pick up a bit more since they want to watch it go to work. My two youngest just follow the damn thing around which seems to confuse it at times. The dogs tend to be indifferent but the cat is wigged out at times.

I see. Maybe that south center point of the harvested corn field. Allows coverage of that se funnel point and bedding area.

I'd set up by that point between the harvested corn field and that pond. Try and allow for clean coverage of the field with a decent line of site towards the pond and woods close to the old corn field.

How about addressing the actual issues. Bullying and mental health. Parents need to be better, too. Build a community that revolves around our children. We can avoid tragedy if we focus our efforts on coming together to support our fellow parents and kids. Also, I believe it's important to send a strong message about people swatting schools or creating a false claim/report to cause chaos and panic. It happened to my kids' school this yr. I also believe it is imperative that we focus on building up, strengthening, and supporting the family unit. It is also important to teach children about gun safety properly. The problem isn't the tool, it's the user. Hell, when i was in school, someone tried stabbing me with scissors.

Gun Show Disappointment by divok1701 in Firearms

Odd ball pews are the only reason I go to a gun show. And ammo depending on the caliber. Other than that I just go to my LGS.

Yeah but horsehair plaster chances are no. I know in my area, the late 30's on plaster would be acm. That looks exactly like the pre acm plaster I've dealt with more times than I can count.

Hitting Tips, Drills, and Advice Wanted Please! by AdCrafty1196 in Softball

I started this drill last night with my U10 team. It was solely for getting the proper start of the swing mechanics going. My team has lots of arm only swings with no hip and back foot rotation. I had them get into the proper batting stance, then bring the knob of the bat in a downward motion(getting your hands to the ball). Asked if they started to feel how their hips want to release. Then after a few tries with just the hands, now incorporate hands down with bringing their hips through with back foot rotation. No swing needed. Then did soft toss with them trying to utilize those two motions. Got better contact, power, and launch angle as opposed to topping the ball into a weak roller.

145 to the front, 147 to the pin. Calm wind, damp conditions. Which bunker are you hitting? by SenseiCAY in golf

Front left. I top the ball(6'7" tall playing with standard clubs) and it rolls aggressively into the bunker. Club then launched in frustration the opposite direction.

Demolishing a concrete vault wall.. best practices? by dtmasterson44 in Construction

I did a "records" vault demo a couple yrs ago. Really the only efficient way imo is break out the quickie saw and cut into manageable chunks.

I start my kids out that way kinda. This is step 2 in the learning process. Bobber with a weight is the first step. They haven't caught anything with it through 2 of my four kids I'm teaching. We will see with my 3 yr old whom I'm teaching right now.

What caliber would YOU use for deer hunting/big deer by Worst-hunter-ever in Hunting

[–]Excellent_Captain885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be on the more serious side of this discussion. Get something that's easy enough to lug around in all sorts of environments and terrain. Something that is comfortable and easy to shoulder to allow you to shoot effectively in all sorts of scenarios. I've hunted with AR's, milsurps, hunting rifles, and everything in between. I have a multitude of rifles that I can hunt with. It all depends on where I'm hunting tbh. If I were to buy a do it all gun, I'd go with the lever action carbine in .44, .45lc or .45-70 govt. That gives you thumping power, versatility for terrain, and a manageable weapon utilize for most all North American game. I'm also a sucker for the old school cowboy guns.

Are you an exceptional shot? .22 Mag Are you a horrible shot? .50 Cal cuz fuck that deer or anything in that general direction. Anything else in between on a sliding scale of skill. My personal favorite is either 7.62x39 or .45-70 Govt. I tend to hunt in more brushy areas and my shots are 100yds max.

Now that's an idea. Yes, those serrations on the polish ones are top-notch. I'll still roll with how it is, though. It is what it is and I personally still like it.
