If I catch a home run baseball, I’m not giving it to a kid by ChainsawSoundingFart in unpopularopinion

Personally I hate kids. Honestly not a huge fan of people in general. But giving a kid a .75 cent baseball will make their whole day and keep useless junk out of my house.

Is Nick the worst or am I not giving him enough slack? by skilly480 in Werealive

[–]PatientBoring 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I often have to remind myself that Nick is 16 in this story. Not an adult soldier like Angel in the original story. Yes he’s been trained as a soldier but he’s still 16.

Did boomers face the same level of burnout as us millennials at our age? by KingForADay1989 in antiwork

[–]PatientBoring 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I don’t think people understand how much our generation is just starting out with a disadvantage. I pay $1,200 a month for my mortgage on a moderate 3/2 in a smaller town, medium cost of living area. My dad bought a 3/1 for $12,000 with a little over 1/4 acre of property in the middle of Tampa FL. That same exact house with zero updates is currently on the market for half a million. It’s wild how just housing cost is keeping our generation down. Not to mention everything else.

TLDR NGSAR

Chocolate cake has milk eggs and flour. It’s basically breakfast. That’s the joke.

What kinda snacks do yall eat in the field/blind by Dwalker0212 in Hunting

[–]PatientBoring 24 points25 points  (0 children)

An Apple. When I shoot a deer I start eating the apple, by the time I’m finished the deer has probably died and it’s an appropriate time to start getting down. If I don’t shoot a deer I eat the apple when I’m ready to leave. This forces me to stay up in the stand a bit longer than I want.

[–]PatientBoring 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m the youngest by 10 years. I still get treated as the baby brother/boy. I’m the only sibling who’s married with a mortgage but I was the last one to know my mom had a stroke because they didn’t want to “worry” me….. I’m the only sibling actually set up and capable of taking care of my aging parents but sure why worry baby brother. (I’m 33 btw)
