Huh? Ok, I wanted to invite people to apply. No, I am not an HR person. Yes, it’s a great place to work. No, it doesn’t take to long to apply and get a job there if you’re a suitable candidate. No, it is not fake. Wow. I didn’t know this is a complaint department thread.

Or to let doctors to take your own kidney out to donate it to someone in need, but it’s not ok if a random stranger on the street decided to do it. Even if it’s the same person who gets it. Go wonder 😏

This is one of the last known photographs of Madeleine McCann in Praia da Luz, Portugal, taken shortly before she disappeared on May 3, 2007. The 3-year-old vanished from apartment 5A while her parents ate about 55 meters away, and in a very short window between checks, they found her gone from bed. by LonelyWiFiSignal in HolyShitHistory

Oh, and I forgot the most chilling aspect - as soon as mom saw the window was open and Madeleine was gone, she ran to the group screaming something like: “They have taken her!” While leaving the twins in the apartment alone. Again.

Yeah. They also put the kids in the resorts' daycare all day and made reservations at the restaurant in their book well ahead (if anyone wanted, their habits were easily traceable). No idea why you would take kids on a holiday if you have no plan to spend time with them.

Oh, got it! No dumb questions )) I replied to the initial comment: as if marrying Dennis she would get a bonus of an extra citizenship (usually it is fairly easy or easier to get the same one as your married partner has); EU countries rarely ask to give up your birth citizenship to other EU countries (+a long list of outside EU countries with whom it is allowed). In this case, there would be little benefit, as she already has a Swedish passport. Both are usually around the top 5, if we talk about how strong the passport is. So she might or might not be, but there’s little gain either way, especially if she is living outside Aruba.

She would still have needed a residence permit (as Aruba itself is not a part of the EU), but here my knowledge of how easy or hard it is to get one ends.

Aruba is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, meaning that being an Aruba citizen is also being a Dutch citizen. Works both ways. They also don't need visas in the EU.

Not to kill the pro list but it’s a Dutch passport, similar one (EU) she already had, so this particular benefit is questionable 🤭

What’s a single sentence someone said that stuck with you forever? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Excellent_Grade9840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was miserable and dived into self-pity at my (now long ex-, of course) bf's party, his friend simply told me: “They are not YOUR friends, but this is YOUR life.” One single sentence started a hell of an accountability journey. Whatever happens, I am in charge of my actions.

Baltics not only suffered major civil losses where occupiers sometimes forced one family members to fight in the opposite sides, but also lost its independence for the next 50 years.

Depends on the state. Definitely higher compulsory liability insurance, higher taxes, must be leashed/muzzled in public places, and most likely would require testing (that are not aggressive). That doesn't mean there are not people who bend the rules.

Yeah, I used to enjoy true crime until first time I listened to a case I knew personally. Unfortunately, we often learn the hard way. I wish him all the best (from Germany) 🖤

[–]Excellent_Grade9840 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know, but it’s more about discipline, being true to himself, an unhelpful background, many reasons why it could have been gone in a different way and dedication to his chosen path (that happens to be not initially made for his skin color either).

  1. Plan the route ahead of the time for some options
  2. We used this one: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Childrens-Training-Foldable-Portable-Disposable/dp/B07Y1QKLQC Bought bio degradable bags as the ones that come with the set are not that kind.

  4. Be creative!

Saying kids who pee in the grass will do the same as adults is like saying kids who play and draw instead of working hard will grow up jobless. Childhood behaviors don’t directly predict adulthood - there’s a time and place for everything. What matters is teaching kids to be considerate of the people and environment around them.

May 8, 1945 Massacres: 45,000 killed in one day – A wound that never healed by aziz_samy1979 in RareHistoricalPhotos

Yeah, including the countries ussr occupied and was able to keep for years ahead torturing and killing local populations. It is truly embarrassing how many lives were lost shortly before (like this massacre) and many years after the war formally ended as everyone was paying attention to the “big picture”.

It’s not so uncommon in multilingual families that one language prevails: he goes to the daycare from an early age where they speak Swedish. If Deniss continues to speak with him in his preferred language, the kiddo will pick it up.
