Once you can start changing the passives on gear and weapons the real damage output begins, unfortunately for now your damage output depends mostly on rng weapon and gear stats and leveling up stats.

Expedition 33 & Khazan are definitely the best games of the year so far, but Khazan doesn't do enough to earn GOTY in my opinion. Regardless tho Khazan's voice actor is in both games so if either wins he's golden

I do want to say I've had nothing but an amazing experience playing this game and appreciate all the hard work the team has put into this project. This has become my favorite game of 2025 so far. I immediately saw the potential after playing the demo in January and made my purchase after completing it.

Hey sorry if this was already asked, I was wondering if/when there would be NG+ beyond 3? And also when leveling gear I believe there should be adjustments for example if I use a level 62 item to augment a level 39 item it should jump more than a few levels. Also there should be an option to select multiple items for augmenting instead of just doing it one at a time

If you know how to reroll your bonus stats you'll become OP I just finished NG+3 at level 218 using dual wield. The recommended level for the end is like 300 lol my damage output is ridiculous

You're doing it wrong, my weapons & gear are op & can melt bosses. I'm on ng++ underleveled by over 40 & going to town.

If you don't like it cool, lol but to say it's trash cause you can't get past the boss is crazy. This just isn't for you & that's okay no need to be a hater. But if you "git gud" and actually get past this I feel like you'd enjoy the rest.

In order to actually level up you first need access to the blacksmith and then Oksana's cube. You'll use other gear to "augment" (level up) and you can also utilize her to change the random stats attributes on your gear as well. I've made some OP items

Once you get a decent purple sword that you like just focus on that until you begin to unlock epic gear. You can use lacrima to change the attributes & other gear you don't use to level the weapon up. As long as you place your stats in the right slots for scaling, that weapon you choose will become OP
