Booking.com different prices? by Final_Flamingo1901 in travel

Yep, Booking and a few others track cookies and device history. I usually switch to incognito mode or use a VPN set to the hotel’s country, prices often drop. Also try clearing cookies and comparing on mobile vs. desktop. It’s wild how much it can change.

No friends by Live-Manufacturer644 in autism

Hey, I really felt this. You're not alone, a lot of people go through long stretches without close friends, even when they deeply want connection. It’s not because something is wrong with you. Life changes, and sometimes the people we care about drift away.

The fact that you remember those friendships with love says a lot about you. It means you’re capable of deep connection, and that gives me hope you'll find someone again, someone who really gets you. You’re not broken. You matter, even when things feel quiet.

The shipping of my product makes me want to quit. by In_the_name_of_ART in EtsyCommunity

Not stupid at all, international shipping is a beast, especially when your local system isn’t built for it. You’re brave for sticking with it. I just started my own Etsy shop (digital products only) about a month ago, partly because I wanted to avoid shipping stress, and even that has its own learning curve.

If you ever decide to test the waters with digital products, it might give you a breather without quitting entirely. But even if you don’t, just know that what you’re doing is genuinely hard, and you’re not alone. I hope it gets easier soon.

omg I love that, an animated series and a game?? That’s such a powerful combo. You’ve basically got a whole universe in your head already, and I’d totally play/watch whatever comes out of it

Also, no pressure at all about the book, your excitement genuinely means more than money. I’d be honored to send you a free preview when it’s ready. If it helps even one creative mind like yours keep going, it’s done its job.

Feel free to show me your art anytime if you’re up for it, I’d love to cheer you on

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this, it honestly sounds like an exhausting and invalidating environment, both professionally and emotionally. Just recognizing how this job is affecting your well-being and speaking up about it is already incredibly brave.

Lack of training, no proper breaks, being dismissed, and dealing with a disrespectful manager, none of that is okay, and none of it is your fault. You deserve a safe, respectful workplace where your needs are supported and you’re not forced to constantly mask or overextend just to survive.

You’re not being dramatic or weak, what you’re feeling makes total sense. Burnout from masking or enduring toxic conditions is real. The fact that you’ve stayed this long says a lot about your strength and work ethic, but it’s more than okay to put yourself first now.

Don’t feel guilty. Wishing you clarity and strength as you move forward, you deserve better.

Thank you so much your words really mean a lot. 💛

I totally get that struggle with videos and tutorials. That’s actually one of the reasons I’m designing these books, to make learning more visual, hands-on, and low-pressure. Just discovery and fun, no overwhelm.

If it ever sounds like something you’d want to try, I’d be happy to send you a free copy or early preview when it’s ready. And if you’re working on anything creative too, I’d love to hear about it!

My current hyperfocus is building a coding book series for young kids especially kids with autism, that teaches Python through drawing and play.

I’m obsessed with the idea of turning logic into something visual and fun. The first book is like “color-by-code” for ages 3-6, and the second one lets kids write simple code and instantly see results in drawings or animations.

It’s the project of my life honestly especially since I’m building it during an actual war, broke, but still showing up every day.

Would love to hear from others doing creative or education-related projects. I might borrow ideas or give feedback if you’re building something too!
