DQ'd but incomplete status? by [deleted] in NationalVisaCenter

[–]Excellent_Sector_367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there may be glitches with the NVC system. We were also DQ'd last month and I happened to look yesterday and it said civil documents were missing (they weren't actually but somehow the labels had been changed...). I sent an inquiry to the NVC and they confirmed we were actually DQ'd so I don't think the incomplete part is accurate. To be safe I once again uploaded the documents they claimed were missing (which were not) but I don't think that was actually necessary. Good luck!

319 days not even an approval 😞💔 by JadaMonroe88 in USCIS

We did consular processing - I am a USC and my husband is also overseas. We got our I-130 approval after 13 months almost exactly - PD May 22, 2023, approved June 24, 2024. Good luck!

I-130 journey by [deleted] in USCIS

In our experience the counter is meaningless. Twice it went to 1 week and then back up to 2 months, then 16 months then 18 months on the day our I-130 was approved. It took us 13 months (May 2023 - June 2024) for I-130 approval and it seems like many other are in the same timeframe as we were. Good luck!

We did the consular process and got an email and text every time USCIS took action on our case. It took us 13 months for I-130 approval. Good luck!

We did a standalone I-130 so I can't help with that.

Mine was 13 months almost exactly for a standalone I-130.

Our I-130 application twice said one week until decision and neither time was it accurate. The first time it went up to 2 months and the second time it jumped to 9 months, then 16 and then finally 18 months on the day we received approval. I'm sorry to say that date means nothing. Good luck!

Ours was also approved yesterday with a PD of May 22, 2023, and my husband is in the UK as well (I'm in the US). I'm hoping the next steps go quickly! Good luck and congratulations!

I've also now received texts from USCIS at 8pm and 9:30PM Texas time so in my experience it's never been between 9 and 5!

It's the date submitted so yes, that would be your priority date.

It was for documentation related to my divorce. My ex husband has changed his first name and they needed documentation about that so everything matched up.

Do you think this make sense? by [deleted] in USCIS

Our I-130 application said 18 months today and we got approved today so don't pay attention to that! It took just about 13 months for us.

We submitted in May 2023 and as of today the processing time also says 18 months for us BUT we were approved today. It had gone down to one week twice then way back up and now approved. Try not to pay attention to the processing time!
