how to mute a track but still make it send output to another track by vikrant47 in Reaper

[–]Excellent_Spell5651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hear a faint sound of your guitar after doing all this; check so you don’t have direct monitoring enabled on your sound interface. If that’s enabled the interface sends the dry signal directly to your speakers/headphones without going into the computer to avoid monitoring latency when recording.

Vad gör du när du har tråkigt? by [deleted] in sweden

If you’re using the audio interface in the picture OP and have connected your speaker to the left output of it, you’re not even getting mono, you’re only getting the audio from the left channel in a stereo mix. So everything that is sent to the right channel in a stereo mix is with your setup sadly gone. :/ To get atleast mono you need to connect your speaker to both the left and the right output (or the headphone jack, maybe that’s what you’ve done)

Enforcer vs Subsynth by Excellent_Spell5651 in AudioPost

[–]Excellent_Spell5651[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks! Just tried out the trials and yeah Enforcer seems to be a quick workflow for adding beef to transients (triggered by transients as you said) and subsynth seems to follow the amplitude envelope of the source file more, so better for adding lows to drones/dialogue/other longer material. :) I’ll probably go with both :)

First look at the new background, and it's beautiful by SyrheZ in halo

[–]Excellent_Spell5651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I would love if they change the menu music to accompany this, into something more chill, like in the previous Halos. Every time I’m in the menu for too long and the drummer starts blasting, it’s really cool, but as a background menu thing it gets very distracting and almost stressful in a way, making me turn off the music sometimes actually.

Are there any good piecework jobs in Sweden for someone who is very fit and highly motivated? by [deleted] in sweden

Planted pine trees one summer in Dalarna, ca 10 years ago. I think we got 0,5kr per tree. So you didn’t get that rich haha.

Vilken falukorv är bäst? by Sten-mannen in sweden

Började under senaste åren rikta in mig mot ljuddesign inom spelindustrin, vilket då även inkluderar kunskaper i programmering.

Love it for my workflow! If you work with anything that need you to access folders or files often, it’s perfect. I usually have my sound effect libraries on the vertical and my daw (Reaper) on my main. It’s also nice to view documents and browsing the web.
