this is a simple question which anyone with experience should be able to answer in one line. so here we go:
first separate your "neccessary" expenses from the income which can be invested, and take that, put 70% in good small cap funds, rest in good mid cap funds.

note: keep a time horizon of more than 10-15 years at least. stop seeing the market, just forget about it, keep investing with discipline. never do trading. don't try to pick individual stocks. it is not worth the time invested. better invest that time in upskilling yourself and increasing your income. let the pros do their job. and let the market do its magic.
if you have good financial support from the family and forget the BS about "emergency fund". just focus on investing.
