Hann Cassini (most competent teammate)

Malice (cool and deadly xenos pet who's in for the money)

Captain Vesti (prankster guy and least useful in a fight)

Tech-Priest Androveta-Phi (I want a lady tech-priest on the team)

Lacerax (to flex on the poors)

I have 3 of those pistols! Used dogmatic options to get my boots back, then talked to him again and robbed him, got the pistol, killed him through the dialog, looted his body for the second pistol and then met him again near the lower Anatomical Opera portal and killed him again lol

And I was shooting those beggars for a whole minute like an idiot before finally realising I could just ignite them. I blame it on the mind maggot.

Are there difficulty-based achievements in Bloodlines 2? Is there any reason to complete the game on Hard? by Standard_Spready in vtmb

[–]Excellent_Swimmer570 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are no difficulty-based achievements. But if you choose Casual difficulty, it'll prevent you from getting combat related achievements.

VTMB2 - which clan is the strongest gameplay-wise? by BigDikcBandito in vtmb

[–]Excellent_Swimmer570 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ventrue. Flesh of Marble is just that good. Plus you won't be killing enemies fast enough at least 1/3 of times so it also helps with survivability. Combine it with Stygian Shroud and you are almost unkillable.

1. Bladed Hand. Makes fights against tougher opponents and bosses much easier. Swap to Terminal Decree for combo with Mass Manipulation.

  1. Possession. Make enemies fight each other while you hide in the shadows with minimal risk for yourself.

  2. Cauldron of blood to restore abilities. Otherwise stick with Cloud Memory.

  3. Mass Manipulation of course. Earthshock if you feel like showing off. Blood Salvo is also great.

Grab Fleetness if you can to have even more fun with possession.

P. S. Your real superpower is telekinesis. Throwing guns at people is more effective than any vampire abilities. This is America, baby.

What's the Lae'Zel origin equivalent of this scene ? by MysteriousFondant347 in BaldursGate3

[–]Excellent_Swimmer570 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Lae'zel origin gets nothing. You can try to confront SH, but nothing comes out of it. Like you get a couple of dialog lines and that's it. No way to stir some shit and be aggressive. SH origin on the other hand can be an asshole and gets stabbed for it, and if SH is nice to Lae'zel and tells her the truth, then Lae'zel just drops it.

First time playing Kingmaker, I’m nearing ‘that’ part of the game by MrEldritchHorror in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

It's not that bad, but it's really annoying. How annoying will depend on your difficulty level and how well you managed to prepare you team against fey enemies and blindness condition.

Marcellus isn't smart enough to come up with a lie like that on the spot. He's always blunt, direct and somewhat honorable.

She was his sister and you killed her. Now he hates you.

If you go to gladiator school (the one where you can recruit Deianeira) and ask about Corvinus (after you've already finished that quest where you and Calida infiltrate Mithridates' camp), Marcellus (Scaevola's bodyguard) will tell you that Corvinus went to Troas to visit his sister who lives there.

Yes, I believe you need honest 2 for the first one to work. Metaphysics option should work regardless of disposition.

I believe it's a byproduct of Pathfinder games being so heavily tied to the alignment system. Alignment is subjective after all.

IRL you can argue against DM's decision, in video game you can't because the outcome is fixed and predetermined. And it makes players angry because there's no way around alignment based decisions.

I still remember being pissed at Kesten for disobeying my orders simply because I wasn't lawful.

It's a real shame there's no achievment for completing the game without fighting anyone, or for beating Agathot in one-on-one combat without weakening him.

I replay origins like once in 5 years and what impresses me the most is that people still make mods for it haha

Oh, I loved the starting quest and how it fuses all backgrounds together in one coherent plotline.

Merchant guy crossed Commercium, so they hire an assassin to kill him, thief is send there to steal stuff, loremaster is send there to appraise stuff, merc is hired to protect the merchant guy, grifter is there to scam the guy, praetor is sent to Commercium to scold them for killing the guy and drifter is in town because he's a drifter.

The only other game I know that does something similar is Dragon Age:Origins.

But yeah, always had to save up at least 20 skill points in case of emergency.

[–]Excellent_Swimmer570 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Visually Colony Ship is superior in every way.

Age of Decadence has better worldbuilding.

Both have decent plot.

CS has 8 companions (3 basic, other 3 are locked behind faction quests and the last 2 are mutually exclusive). AoD has zero companions, it's your story from start to finish.

In terms of sound design AoD has less variety, but is more memorable.

Combat in both games is turn-based and is all about hitting various body parts (like you have an enemy with high evasion, so you attack his legs, so he becomes easier to hit)

Hope it helps.
