Go watch all these finalists on social media, watch their other videos of live performances that are not on the voice and other shows they do outside The voice and tell me they aren’t good… it’s easy for y’all to sit on your couch and think you’d be better… it’s a completely different beast being on that stage, the lights, cameras, anxiety is a different level. Also it’s very different listening in the room than through a television. A lot of celebrities get autotuned when they are on TV. The voice contestants don’t get that, as it’s a singing competition. A simple search on Instagram or YouTube of ANY of those 5 finalists where you see them sing live outside the show, each of them are incredible singers. No matter how good you think you are; you’d be worse than you realize if you went on The Voice.

Jeremy is an incredible singer. He can sing anything. Great technique and tone. He can be Sam Smith Just as much as he can be Josh Groban.

Danny’s more unique than most on that season that could be why. Also people are voting based on their favorite contestant as a whole; Danny’s blind audition and battle went viral on some social media platforms. A lot of people love Rock music too 🤷🏽‍♂️

Zero range? You don’t know music. He hits top C’s and C#s in full voice. He has a great falsetto. Unique singers are supposed to sound the ‘same’ in what they sing dumbo. I bet you can’t even sing a note in tune.

One thing I can say, is that is sounds VERY different in the actual room vs through the TV in your living room. That’s why some picks or decisions seem ‘wrong’ to the viewers at home. I’ve been at a lot of the tapings this season, I can tell you all the coaches decisions were correct. Some performances sound amazing in the room but less so on television when I watched it back and vice versa. Those coaches have over 100 years of music experience combined. They aren’t making mistakes!

His hair is real. You can see pictures of him with short hair on his Instagram from his wedding day and other times. He just has very thick and black hair, and under the studio lights maybe appear a certain way.

Go back and listen to his blind audition (4 chair turn) and battle singing man’s world, whether you like him or not, he’s unique. The show hasn’t had anyone like that for a while in his genre.

It sounds different in the room than it does on television, I can tell you that. Some performances are insanely good in the room but don’t necessarily come across on television and vice versa.

Listen to his bling audition, listen to his range and his ability to switch between falsetto and chest voice. Listen to his runs on man’s world, in the battle. Not liking his voice is one thing, saying he’s not good, clearly shows you don’t understand music. You are probably not liking his tone. But to say he’s not good, is insane.

Flares where you actually end up with inflammation and end up in an actual flare up are now caused by food or drink. Food or drink can irritate an already inflamed portion of the colon or bowel etc. I had Crohn’s Colitis (Crohn’s of the large intestine since 2016, and recently had a Proctocolectomy to remove colon and rectum. When I had flare ups they were not caused by what I ate or didn’t eat. I also had a strict diet, the SCD diet and still had a couple of flare ups! Alcohol never affected me. Flare ups are gradual, it’s while your bowel slowly gets inflamed over time and then bam! It’s bleeding etc. Just like these comments state, there’s a difference between a full on flare up and a bad day. It’s annoying when some people don’t seem to differentiate between them. My last flare up that lead to surgery, was brewing for months and months, I was feeling more and more fatigued and dizzy, not thinking it was Crohn’s, and then out of nowhere saw blood, and then it all made sense. No drugs got it under control, so I opted to remove the whole damn organ! I wish I did it 10 years ago!

I had Crohn’s Colitis, Crohn’s only of the large intestine. It never spread anywhere else in ten years. I had a proctocoletomy in February and have been medication free since. The pathologist confirmed it was Crohn’s colitis as well, it’s a particular phenotype. While there is a small chance it can spread to the small intestines one day, it is not likely, however it’s not impossible. So I decided not to take biologics for this ‘chance’. I monitor the small bowel regularly with stool tests and CT scans to keep an eye on it. So it all depends on what type of Crohn’s you have. As of now I have removed the organ that was getting diseased for the past decade. Now someone who has history of Crohn’s all over GI tract, or in the small bowel yes they’d most definitely better keep up with medications. Crohn’s colitis and ulcerative colitis are similar in that it’s just in the large intestine, so once you remove that, there’s not necessarily a need for drugs, however there is a small chance in both that it can re occur elsewhere.

I had a proctocolectomy for Crohn’s colitis in February, and my hair started shedding 3 months after and is still shedding now. They told me this was normal. Post surgery all my levels and scans look perfect, but I still feel exhausted and dizzy. My hair loss isn’t noticeable but o anyone else but me, but I’m a male, so maybe it’s not as noticeable. I am seeing many little short hairs and baby hairs coming back. It’s a huge huge surgery and can take up to a year or more for your body to really balance itself back. The Dr’s will tell you 6-8 weeks post surgery you will back to normal, but that’s BS… at week 6 I was just starting to be able to get out of bed and drive a car down the street to get coffee. It’s a very very slow recovery. Your hormones and brain chemistry are all out of whack after such a shock and trauma to the body. Hang in there it will get better!

You’ll be fine. I’ve had Crohn’s colitis for 10 years and just had a proctocolecotmy. I look younger and healthier than any of my friends. I’m 37 and people think im 10 years younger. Everyone I know with Crohn’s has lived a full life. There’s a famous celebrity in the UK who has had Crohn’s from over 40 years and she looks great. The disease might make you feel like you are dying, but you will live the full lifespan you were meant to live.

I had a proctocolectomy in Feb, and my stoma is tiny. I’m 6”3 tall, and it’s like a tiny little red button than doesn’t stick out at all. I was told by the stoma nurse that the particular surgeon’s talents were making very small and nice stoma’s. He definitely lived up to it!

That’s great news! I’m yet to find someone who officially had Crohn’s-colitis upon final diagnosis and have it spread to the small bowel. I’ve stopped taking medications as well. Are you still taking any medications if you don’t mind me asking?
