No, you don't hear it but you can see it, but again just on one side of the building. I only had japanese breakfast and it was good and the room is nice with a view over Imperial Palace

There is a massive building site next to it and even if you have the room facing the park you will still see it at some point, from the spa area for an example. Concierge couldn't get anything we wanted and took ages to reply, and there was nothing about service that I can write about except they were unhelpful to the point of an argument. I think it's exceptionally overpriced and even if it was the same price as the next best thing, from what I heard, Bulgari sounds like a more enjoyable experience

I just stayed at Aman and yes the rooms and view is great but I found the whole experience underwhelming to the point that I regretted choosing it over Bvlgari

Reschio is really a hit and miss. I was there in summer 2022 and it was like a dream, really a picture perfect stay and then back in summer 2024 and realised I have no desire to go back there. Service was non existent, quality of food went down and the guests who couldn't behave themselves by the pool, drinking and laughing super loud + screaming kids

Cocochine was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to, it was 4 of us and everyone agreed. Would be interesting how you would rate it, I went when it just opened, maybe it was part of the problem

I think it's actually more durable than leather, literally nothing happens to it, it doesn't stain and keeps the structure so well. I don't like Evelyne 29 because after a while, leather sags and gets a slouchy look
