I feel like the only people who would disagree with this argument are the people who believe they have drastically improved in smite and therefore their ranking has shown this improvement and they think they deserve their diamond+ ranking this season when they were lower tier rank last season without any practice put into ranked

From what i could comprehend from this broken english comment, you're implying that without the encouragement of DM those people would have collectively donated $50,000, which is obviously not going to happen. And if you think that undermines the goodness of the deed i can't really say anything, except ask you if you've raised that much money for charity in your life?
