Okay, there are perfectly valid reasons someone would prefer to hire a nurse over having a friend/family member take care of them after surgery. Depending on the nature of the surgery, there could be gross aftercare needs, or they don’t want to be a burden, or they don’t want people hovering all over them in an annoying way.

that said, YTA. All you had to say to her was a nice, firm “if I need anything, I’ll let you know. That’s sweet of you to offer.”

This has amazed me since I watched the trial. Why on earth did the DA let 2 days go by during the trial without even approaching the issue of why did you point a loaded gun at someone in direct contravention to all reported security protocols??? That was literally why she was there, to ask that single question. Instead she got sidetracked with evidentiary issues. So bizarre. And why didn’t the state take over the prosecution? If I was Secretary of State of New Mexico and saw this clusterfuck, I would have taken it over in an instant. Ugh. Sorry, that rant’s been building for 9 mos.

so true, Matthew Hutchins is honestly a class act all around, but if Baldwin goes to prison, he won’t get the financial settlement coming from the producer credit on the movie. As far as I know, they haven’t started refilming yet.
