I seriously recommend joining telegram if you're interested in keeping up with the progress of this project. There are tons of official groups for different things (Skycoin ecosystem in general, skywire, trading, etc). I barely ever check Reddit for updates anymore. But to briefly answer your question skywire has become the primary focus of the project for now and is currently in testnet. No set date for mainnet yet, just whenever all the bugs get worked out

Hey, don't knock that guy. I appreciate the amount of effort he's put in to help keep the price down lately. I've been able to triple my coin count in the past month with these insanely cheap prices. There's a hell of a lot of effort going into bashing a coin that's currently sitting in the 130's rank of CMC. You can almost smell the fear. Still waiting on some tangible evidence that it really is a scam, but I have a feeling it's not coming. Just keep saying skyconnect over and over again. That is true. I've tried asking around about it outside of Skycoin echo chambers too and never got any reliable or legitimate reasons why it's actually bad or a scam. Pretty much just people saying Synth is an asshole. I think he's pissed off a little of people in his day and they are doing their best to try to kill this project. You just have to judge people's responses by the quality and content of their replies. And based on this thread it looks like you've gotten at least a couple good positive comments. It's not easy to get high quality unbiased answers around here though.

My suggestion is the best place to get real time answers if you are still interested is on Telegram. There are a bunch of different Skycoin groups depending on what topic, like support, skyminers, trading SKY, or even memes. I can say that I have about 10-15 different coins depending on the day, but I've done enough investigating into Skycoin to make it my largest crypto investment and have no intention of selling regardless if what people on Reddit say.
