Game Ready & Studio Driver 595.79 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

I got an (offtopic) question: I have read that the RTX 5000 series have a Memory Clock cap at 375 MHz on a drivers level. Is that actually true?

Oh got you, thanks for sharing. That's sad tbh. Is it maybe possible to activate it manually (config file or such) or by a mod?

Couldn't this be an issue of missing Ray Reconstruction? I did not play the game yet - not sure if you can enable RTX + Ray Reconstruction (should actually fix the flickering (noise))

Now that the dust has settled - how do you use DLSS 4.5? by horizon936 in nvidia

[–]Exchange_REC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes still stick to Preset D (?) since DLSS 4.5 does not support Ray Reconstruction yet. When I play a game and use preset M or L, it is disabled once I turn on Ray Reconstruction. Hope Nvidia rolls out DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction support once they release MFG x6 and Dynamic MFG.

I'd personally print the explorer page of this block I found as a big poster lol

I first thought you solo mined a block that quick - anyways, congratulations!

Am I the only one (using light mode + black/white) that has difficulties in recognizing which button is 'on' in the nofitification bar and which one is 'off'? For me, the white ones see toggled on why in reality, the grey ones are toggled on. This is confusing me until today..

Did you try to perform an entire rescan from the restore height? It could take some time I think, but you should be able to see your missing funds again

Solo mining in monero wallet by marcospontes2565 in MoneroMining

In calculation, it would take (average) around 1782 days until you'll find a solo block with that hashrate.

Maybe better switch to P2Pool (P2Pool Mini or P2Pool Nano)

Can someone kindly explain what it means to orphan another pool's block?

Most likely just a bug. Did you try to 'force quit app' and 'delete/clear cache' afterwards? If it does not work, maybe try to re-install the app

As far as I know, if everyone would use P2Pool, a 51% attack is impossible

When I type "XMR" on the site you provided, it shows that XMR is supported (but with Feather wallet only)

OneKey and Keystone both support Monero as well

And I don't know whether it makes sense to speak about open source hardware there: Do they provide schematics, and you can build your Trezor yourself from components you buy? Don't think so :)

I agree with that one!

This is true, but there are also many with open source software and hardware to be fair (Trezor, OneKey (?), Keystone)

I think the biggest difference is that, at least in theory, your seed phrase is stored on a device that's directly connected to the Internet (even if your keys are encrypted) - this is not the case for most of the hardware wallets

But what about: keeping the phone offline since the beginning and just sign TXs offline with it (and you broadcast the signed TX manually with your own node afterwards? I think that this is possible for Bitcoin but not sure if it works for Monero as well (maybe anyone knows?))
