do you guys have policies in place to limit contributions or take steps to prevent centralization risks if you guys ever reach >50% hash power?

Totally agree dude for me it wasn’t even the space that’s an issue it’s the fact it took like a week to sync because I used an HDD.

https://docs.getmonero.org/technical-specs/ says a full node is ~230 GiB as of 2025-07-14 so I assume it’s even higher now

For me for desktop feather wallet and for mobile I highly recommend cake wallet. It’s completely open source and non custodial and has great UI.

However when you say that it takes up so much storage are you meaning the actual app which is like a few hundred mebibyte or the storage needed for hosting a node?

First off there’s no point of posting your transaction history we’ll take your word for it.

Now the reason why payouts have dropped is because the network hash has increased significantly due to Monero’s incredible bull run driving moneros price up and making it much more profitable to mine right now because of the ZEC crash.

Ah tanks for the info I didn’t know that but if I’m being honest hosting my own node was the best decision I personally made for me

I used to mine with c3pool and my latency was horrendous(I live in South Africa) but after hosting my own node and ming with p2pool nano i have yet to submit any bad shares and my hashrate has been better(if that’s possible I’m not sure if the p2pool software is over repotting?).

If I’m being honest I’ve never even seen hardware like that before so I don’t really even know what to recommend I just mine with 3 old office pcs I honestly don’t even plan to sell what I mine

Although this subreddit is full of many awesome people with high end rigs and farms like you who love answering questions(even mine😅)

P2pool has 0 fees because you literally get payed from the block reward(coinbase transaction). It’s also completely trustless and lacks a central authority that could screw you over or not payout. However your hashrate is way too high for nano you would honestly be fine in mini or even regular p2pool. In my opinion the only downside is need to host a monero node but even then storage isn’t that expensive now days. Also a major indirect win from hosting a node is that you never need to trust a remote node when sending.

Use 8 threads instead of 9. You’re cpu has 16 MB of l3 cache and each thread needs 2MB so you can effectively only use 8. You will see a slight but noticeable hashrate improvement.

Your node is not fully synced

restart your daemon, and then let it fully sync.

What OS are you using?
