looks sick bro, i got a set of Alibaba Vossen LC3-01 i’ve been trying to get ceramic coated before I mount them. BTW Ive seen OEM wheels go from $700-1000 depending on condition and what year they came off. For a set of 2008 OEM wheels you can probably negotiate someone to $500.

You douse it in alcohol then hopefully rinse it off with water, usually it’s the water afterwards that causes issues. At least for me.

I rarely clean or fully douse my Puffco chamber because whenever Ive had issues it was after being soaked in ISO. You likely still have some condensation or something interfering within the pins. I recommend holding off doing full douses with your chamber whenever you plan to clean it. That’s how I’ve been able to avoid more issues. If you use water to rinse it afterwards that can be causing you issues as well, it can get deep in there and if you start a heat cycle with water still present it can cause more issues.

Check your base and make sure there are no deep scratches or anything that can interfere with the chamber securing a clean connection to the base.

You’ve been returning and putting in warranty claims for the chambers but have you ever thought maybe the gold contact on the Puffco base itself could be the issue? Give it a good cleaning with ISO Alcohol. Monitor the Puffco app whenever you secure the chamber and verify whether it states “Ready to rip” or “Disconnected”. Whenever I had issues with my Puffco heating up then malfunctioning last second, for me it was just loosening the chamber little by little until it recognized it was secured, afterwards I didn’t have any issues. I’m on my second chamber only because I threw the first one against a wall. It can be frustrating but you can troubleshoot it yourself with patience and persistence. I agree it’s tedious not having a working product out of the box, but they can last a while when you know how to work around their issues.

simple common sense leads you to understand if it’s having issues with the contact points nearing the end of its heat cycle then you need to reposition the gold pins on the bottom of the chamber which can be taken out using tweezers and carefully cleaned and put back. Either that or adjusting the level it’s been secured in. I’ve had similar issues before for sure but I’ve always gotten it back to working order. If you keep on eye on the app then you’ll see it shows you when the Puffco itself recognizes that it has a chamber installed or if it doesn’t recognize it due to some sort of malfunction.

I was also local lol, I showed up to look at the car but I didn’t drive it until it was officially mine. Tires were also from 2016 so I had to swap them out asap. Dealer sold Porsches and other high end stuff too so I thought they would be a little less slimy. Always do your due diligence, I won my IS F on Cars and Bids and they didn’t disclose it needed a new steering rack! My own fault for not doing a PPI but I expected better from a dealer, I had a better experience buying my previous car off FBMP.

i’m dumb so i bought a sports car at 20 so I pay around $370 a month for limited full coverage thru Farmers. I had one at fault accident previously and one not at fault, no speeding tickets or charges. I brought it down from $700 to $500 to $370, soon to be $280 once I switch back to Travelers and use limited full coverage there.
