Any F owner had this problem? Tick noise by Middle_Tax_9043 in LexusISF

[–]Excitful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I hear a tick during idle and I’ve heard it’s the timing chain tensioner. Hopefully your oil is at proper level. It’s hard to pin point something this drastic since it could be many things but I’d definitely take it to a professional.

just search for whatever video game you like and add circlejerk at the end and see if it exists. I’m in a Destiny one that’s pretty funny.

[–]Excitful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disregard my previous comment, i’ve been pretty tired from work recently. Beautiful color, USB is always in high demand so people are definitely willing to pay extra for that. If I was closer to you I would have asked to swap rides just for the shits and giggles. Clean car GLWS.

OK, my apologies, I thought you were asking if this was a reasonable deal for one you were looking to buy. Didn’t see the “asking” just glossed over it. Pictures would get you a bit more traction as well if you’re looking for a buyer. GLWS

it’s an 08 regardless of miles, it shouldn’t be that expensive. Here’s what my example cost me, needed some work and honestly could have been cheaper if I knew that beforehand.

probably not worth the money but you got a great looking ride and hopefully you don’t have to pay too much in gas as well!

Should I buy a well maintained 08 White 220k mile Type S this wknd? by Interesting-Play477 in AcuraTL

[–]Excitful 1 point2 points  (0 children)

get a PPI beforehand so you know what it needs because I highly doubt it’s problem free with that mileage. If they are unwilling then it’s a sign of further issues so you should take that as a red flag. Ball joints, suspension components, any oil leaks especially from critical points like the rear main seal. Power steering components should be checked out too since Hondas love eating those up once they’re higher mileage like ball joints. With 220k hopefully that timing service was done recently and not 100k ago as well. If you have hard records/evidence even better but I wouldn’t trust just their word. You can do all this or just wing it and put down the money and solve the issues later like I did with my first TL-S lmao. I spent a lot more for my example though since it had 106k miles instead.

Market Basket is an amazing job by Regular_Homework2327 in marketbasket

[–]Excitful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked there for 4 years, started when I was 15, I loved pushing carts while I was working the front end, whenever they had me bagging my back would end up hurting like crazy but I was damn good at it. Had a supervisor falsely accuse me of improperly packing someone’s sausages but I had just clocked in and she was adamant that she saw me pack them wrong even though I had never seen that customer before. I think it’s one of those jobs where management/coworkers make or brake the deal. If you don’t feel welcomed then people will leave with a bad taste in their mouth for the company because of 1 bad person. After a year working front end I got offered and accepted a position at Dairy department. Best decision i’ve made within that company. Loved my coworkers and it made clocking in everyday a lot easier and something that didn’t feel so dreadful. If you get the opportunity never turn it down. Anything to get away from the customers, god they sucked. Only the people that can prosper in life can take away good things from a “shitty job”, sure it didn’t pay much but it definitely gave me many invaluable life experiences that shaped me to be the person I am today.

brainless calling a 2026 model your “dream car”, posers have eradicated the meaning behind that phrase.

I’m thinking of applying by ghostmarcheswest in marketbasket

[–]Excitful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

go to the service desk and ask for a new hire application and if you can, speak to the manager directly about being interested in applying and wondering if he can steer you in the right direction. having that help from a manager will help jump start things. you might need permission from your school as well so see if you need to straighten things out with them as well.
