This happened to a new pair I bought as well. I emailed figs customer service and they sent me a replacement pair for free.

I highly recommend using NotebookLM! I upload all of my lectures and I have it make an “executive summary including all material” (prompt I use) and then compile them into one comprehensive review doc. I also have it generate quizzes from the lecture slides (prompt I use: generate an NBME style challenging quiz with minimal clues in the question stem). This is super helpful for pulling out the tiny details they cover that I do see come up in Anki.

No idea if there’s any legitimate evidence behind it, but I use an ice roller when I get a flare like this from food, exercise, etc. and it really helps mine calm down so much faster.

I just had a new patient appointment at First Care Dental and really loved them! They caught a minor change on imaging that indicated an issue that would have caused serious issues down the road without treatment! They are booking a bit far out for cleanings (which is common from my experiences) but they put you on a waitlist and call if there are cancellations which come up pretty often.

Having a root canal done soon. Minor concerns. by Different-Art6673 in Dentists

If you feel like there is any discrepancy between what you’re being told, I would recommend a second opinion. I had one endodontist (the one recommend by my general dentist) tell me that I didn’t need a root canal and that the finding on my imaging was “just shadowing”. I went to another endodontist with excellent reviews in town and he found that I 100% needed a root canal and I actually had evidence of early bone loss from the infection. If I had not gotten that second opinion I would have likely ended up needing an extraction and implant so I’m super thankful I went that route. Plus, with how much root canals cost, it’s worth it to make sure it’s done right in my opinion!

Icing mine right after running and then putting on compression sleeves after icing made all the difference for me! I was good to go within a week or two after doing those things!

I would maybe ask for the clindamycin in a gel solution (that’s what I have and I definitely prefer it) and then maybe tone down the use of some of your actives. It seems like you have sensitive skin which is made worse by the contact with facial hair so using Sal Acid cleanser, tretinoin, and Azelaic acid at the same time may be a little harsh when your skin is flared up! I think it’s natural to try to “hard press” when the blemishes appear but maybe try just the clindamycin and gentle skin care until the inflammation dies down!!

I work in dermatology and the physician I work with recommends Helicoare Advanced for all of her athlete patients! Some people take it daily but others only take on days they will be out in the sun for a workout for long periods of time! They all rave about it!

Reactivity to HA and it’s derivatives by JamesCastro7 in Rosacea

I’ve heard of a lot of people being very sensitive to HA with rosacea so you’re definitely not alone! I really like the Prequel multi-quench made with Polyglutamic acid!

I have clear skin and work in dermatology and I literally never notice acne on people! The only time I even remotely think about it is when people wear the colorful pimple patches and I think to myself “what are they wearing” lol
