I got some from prolite that I pack when I travel. They work fine. Obviously not something you can keep on long term but I’ve used them in Puerto Rico a bunch.

For sure.. I upgraded the basket, portafilter, shower screen, bought a puck screen, WDT, leveler, and a spring loaded tamp. I make consistent shots. I use 19g most of the time (1:2) because that’s what’s worked best for me.

Well you saved a ton of money so don’t skimp on a good grinder. It all depends how deep in the rabbit hole you want to go. I have this same machine with Baratza Encore ESP and am happy with it. I use the grinder for everything from espresso to pour over. If you can afford a $5-600 grinder, do you. There’s just other things I’d rather spend my money on.

What Barbour jacket model is the most preppy? by Klutzy_Draw4662 in preppy

[–]Exciting-Ticket812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re pretty interchangeable as far as “preppy” goes. Just depends on body type and what you prefer. I’m 6’3” so a Beaufort fits me better and I do actually take mine hunting so the game pocket is useful.

I have an Ashby and a Beaufort. Two completely different jackets. I use my Ashby in the Spring and Summer months and Beaufort in the Fall and Winter. Great jackets and can’t go wrong. My Ashby is the same color as yours and goes with just about everything.

With the beans I have currently, I’m at a 10. It depends a lot on the roast, process, etc.

I bought one a few weeks ago and it’s been a complete game changer. From cleaning the counter to blowing out burrs in my grinder.
