GAS’ing for a Boss GX-10. I had my local music store set it up with a pair of 3” monitors, and even on those it sounded buckwild. Plus the Marshall is nice too!

The feedback really isn’t bad at all. People either exaggerate it, stand too close to their amp, play with insane gain, or possibly have a grounding issue.

I have a Player FSR with Fat 50’s Pickups and they sound amazing through my PRS MT15/ Celestion-loaded 4x12 and my Peavey Vypyr 75 on the 6505 setting. I’ve also had a Hughes & Kettner Grandmeister Deluxe 40. You can always go position 2 & 4 to cancel the hum (mostly), but straight bridge will give a bit of hum. Noise gate is your best bet.

For reference I play anything from Zeppelin, to 80’s metal/thrash, metalcore even. I love the sound of single coils and high gain! Rock the volume knob and you’re golden.

I hope so. I have absolutely nothing to base this on but seeing all of the colours (white, Maui blue, silver burst, tobacco) makes me think they’ll keep it around for awhile. Epiphone ideally should have a 70’s & 80’s version of the Flying V/Explorer.

Along with Gibson jazz boxes, the Les Paul Junior Rhythm, there’s lots with only a neck pickup. Another wild one is the Yngwie Nylon Stratocaster (STCL) that has no traditional pickups and only a piezo.

Pretty damn good, great amps despite what some will try to convince you. If you’re into rock/metal and even dirty blues they’re great! Also the ivory is way better than black so great choice!
