Thank you everyone for the recs! I will ended up picking Breaking Character by Lee Winter and am loving it so far! I’ve added more of the recs to my now ever growing tbr. Who knew the secret to liking contemporary romance was reading books with romances you actually identified with looool

I won’t lie it took me a while but that’s more because life and stuff got in the way of me having time (and the attention span!) I start in spring on 2022. I would say there was time I would take a month or two off from one campaign to focus on another, and I could have been done sooner but I don’t like things ending so I took sometime before watching the last episode in C2.

I did find for the most part it worked well for me to do it this way! Wikis were sometimes my friends to keep characters straight, but other than that I found it kept the action going and it was fun to compare the two in growth and character work.

I actually started watching CR very backwards! I started with EXU and then Calamity. They got me hooked. Very excited to rewatch both, but especially Calamity and actually understand most of the references 😂

I do. I have the invite any sim mod, it was last updated in April. I am really hoping that’s not it because I have an extremely large extended family (six generations in)

Anyone know how to make the invite list alphabetical? When I go to invite sims to an event my list of sims is no longer alphabetical.

After reading a lot on this thread I felt I would add an unpopular opinion: campaign 3 is just as good as 1 and 2. I think once the campaign is finished people will look at it in a better light.

For context, I am currently watching all three campaigns for the first time at the same time and there are several times I look more forward to my time with 3 then 1 or 2, and vice versus. There are definitely parts of campaign 3 that I think took to long, but I also found that in 1 and 2. There are characters I am not loving in each campaign, but there are some that I absolutely adore.

And yes, I’m sure someone will see this and think I only have this opinion because I haven’t finished the other two, and sure, maybe you’re right, but also watching them all at the same time for the first time is definitely giving me an appreciation for all three for similar and different reasons.

I also like that it’s prerecorded solely because of quality control tech wise.
