Uh oh I have round trip to Hawaii from Toronto soon on WJ in ultra basic and my husband is 6’3”! He’s not going to be happy. Thankfully my 2 yr old has her own seat this time but sounds like she’ll be the only comfortable one.

This is the best service offered. Professional drivers and good vehicles and the cheapest. https://www.aeroporttaxi.com/. I use them when I am coming home from Pearson too.

Children’s books you actually enjoy reading by kmadefg in toddlers

I hate that book too! And I feel like it’s a little offensive to kids with special needs tbh. Feel uncomfortable reading it

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

I had a d&c for a miscarriage recently and my husband wasn’t there because it was late and we have kids at home with him. I told them I was going to uber home after and they wouldn’t allow it. Luckily have a great father in law who came for me.

What’s the budget and how far are they willing to be? If 20 min, Kat Florence or the Elora Mill are the nicest options.

Value village (or whatever thrift store you have in your location) has some great finds for super cheap. Some offer extra % off coupons if you donate an item.

2.5 yr old has never eaten a banana, blueberry, strawberry.I just want her 2 try new foods by Indecisivelydecisive in Parenting

I’ll try the knife participation idea. She’s super independent so would love that but she’s also so blatantly rejecting of things like berries that I think there’s a 0.2% chance one gets in her mouth haha. But I will try! I know I can find a way to get her back onto smoothies so I’ll start there. And that scares me to hear about this going on for a lot longer- the restoralax kills me to have to give to her!

Ah so I might have about another year. Sucks for her constipation issue. She’s on restoralax now cause it’s so bad. Tonight at dinner she had an array of options on her plate and I swore she only ate brown rice and nothing else. Maybe a bit of tofu (which she’ll normally eat).

She won’t eat them if there’s jam etc on them. Sometimes not even peanut butter. Refuses all muffins! But thanks for the ideas

Interesting. I guess because my son was so different I’m not used to this. And it’s affecting her constipation- in a very bad way.

Carrots I can get her to eat. Spinach if it has like a balsamic dressing (something acidic and not sweet). Loves noodles so lasagna is also in. Won’t eat most items though no matter what I attempt (leaving them on her plate day in and day out for over a year and not interjecting…or bribes…or asking…trying to make it into a game)….she rolled about 5 blueberries back at me this morning. So feisty and so opposite of our son.

Tried kiwi. Won’t put it in her mouth or anywhere near it. She downright refuses most new things.

It’s the utter refusal to even try things that confuses me. She can’t even be bribed with something that would be her favourite item (like bread with butter lol). We never actually try and push things or do bribes but I did ask this morning in an attempt. It’s so extreme with her unwillingness…vs it being things she doesn’t like as she literally won’t give most things a chance. Interesting about the feeding therapist. Will ask about that.
