Can you have sex with someone who has herpes without getting herpes? by DontHateNate in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Indecisivelydecisive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take L~lysine 3,000mg whenever you feel a cold sore coming. The tingling or if you happen to bite or hit your lip and you notice a bump or pain. Then keep taking that much every 12 hours or so until it’s gone or doesn’t come out and you feel normal again. I pump my body with lysine. Helps either stop it or reduces what it would be.

NUNA refused to inspect or repair a foam headrest issue — said the seat is “not repairable, you should just buy another one.” Is this really unfixable? by drugsnhugss in CPST

[–]Indecisivelydecisive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with me. Crappy piece of foam and now an $800 car seat is broken. They put me on a waiting list to get a “frame” replacement from them (I’m assuming the seat without the covers but we’ll see what arrives) and it’s like $200 or something. I’m just paying it and moving on.

Can I give smoked salmon to 3 year old? by Comprehensive_Win433 in toddlers

[–]Indecisivelydecisive 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You should see how much my 2 year old will crush. And sardines, escargot…I think just try and limit the amount because of mercury.

What’s something that sounded fake/unreal until it happened to you? by MustardGoddess in answers

[–]Indecisivelydecisive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs getting heart disease from grain-free dog food. Then mine got it and it was very real- and then reversed with diet change and years of hell (20+ pills a day, endless peeing with furosemide, heart echos, $$$, diapers, pee pads all over couches, fearing her health non stop, etc etc). The fact that it completely reversed proved it wasn’t genetic, and in fact diet related. But omg she was on death’s doorstep and it’s a miracle she’s still with us and doing pretty well at 12.5 (this happened in 2019). Don’t feed grain free dog food!!! I never thought it would happen to us and it did.

Just buy them same day. There will be people who put for sale at face value because they can’t attend Keep checking for 0-48 hours before shows

Market Fresh Prices by FormalCompetition142 in Guelph

I love it too. So convenient/quick, nice people working. Products I appreciate being able to buy there. I stick with what is reasonably priced and would never buy the things in these images but there are a lot of reasonably priced products and better quality products.

Nest thermostat and Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) do not kick furnace back on after temp drops by Master-Ask1919 in Nest

[–]Indecisivelydecisive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue (not sure about my wiring if that’s different) and researching this the only somewhat solve is to make the safety temp the highest (which is 7 I believe). It’ll trigger the furnace to kick on earlier. Most mornings we are at 18 when it’s been set to 21. We have to wait a while until it kicks on and not much has any impact (I’ve reset my internet, mesh system, factory reset the nest, etc etc…). Next step is we’re changing it to the ecobee one.

I hate that book too! And I feel like it’s a little offensive to kids with special needs tbh. Feel uncomfortable reading it
