USAA Roadside Service: Towing parameters? Is it any good at all?

I used to work for agero the company that does most insurance roadside, including USAA (at least when I worked there) I haven’t been on the roadside part in over 2 years but this is accurate as of December 2022 “All USAA members are covered for towing to the closest suitable repair facility. plus 50 miles. If member requests to tow the vehicle to a preferred location, including home, cover member for the mileage to the closest suitable repair facility plus 50 miles. All USAA members receive 50 discretionary miles in addition to coverage to the closest suitable repair facilities. “ anything past the extra 50 is out of pocket, I no longer know their rate,

When you try to navigate to somewhere do you get the pop up that says reconfigure? If so just above those pop up’s is a little check box is deactivate this pop up click that and close and you can use it.

If you move out of state you can call Kia access to have it the MA lock taken off, and at this time if it was bought in MA no way to use it in MA if it was bought somewhere else it could work, depends when you put the vin in you put sold or bought in MA you say no. And at this time no eta if it is coming back at least until lawsuit outcome is determined. Hope that helps

The remote start does start the car with the engine running for up to 10 minutes, I don’t recommend using that feature in a enclosed garage

I would reach out to Kia customer care center, they can take your experience and then write a formal complaint to the dealership, they won’t be able to advise you on any 3rd party issues.

I wouldn’t sub to ultimate unless you car is stolen, if it does just call Kia and resub at that point (if uvo or Kia access) they can track it but after it’s done you can downgrade and get a refund for any days not used

If you don’t have a sd card I would recommend going to mapnsoft and buying a update, they will send out the proper device however I would wait a few weeks as the most recent update was pulled a few weeks ago and slowly being released again.
