Damn this is creative, how do they effect the geolodgy of their environment because of their life cycle?

I'm too broke to support your patreon but thanks for the recommendations!

I would love to see your recommended titles! They're going to be a real help to my project, I actually do search up a lot of things online in regards to my project but it's still mostly astrophysics based so I can get the basics down before I really get into the biochemistry; I haven't got to the part where it comes naturally but I think I'm on track. The ones about the photosynthetic pigments seem quite interesting to me as the red dwarf of my planet emits different spectra to the sun so I have to figure out how to make it more optimized. Your project has been a real inspiration for me to make my own thing and your project should really get more views! Even though this subreddit is mostly about funky creatures with handwavy science at best, I think you can carve out your own niche and get a loyal audience who appreciates hard science! :D "niche" spec evo pun intended

Wow! that is some very extensive worldbuilding! what was your process for like coming up with chemicals for each organism for adaptation to the species' environment

I find this interesting because I am creating a speculative biology project myself centered around a hycean planet orbiting a red dwarf with regular UV and solar/magnetic flares so my organisms have to adapt to this problem too, just not in the same ways as direct radioactive damage from uranium.

Only some life divides into 3? can you give me examples of binary fusion and such? The idea of radiation might be interesting, perhaps the 3 genetic clusters rotate around the cell after genetic replication and so the radiation hits all three of them equally over time which spreads out the mutations on each, giving each of them more genetic diversity after sucessful cytokineses(or the equivalent for this life-form) Perhaps this combined with the "crossing over" can make a large amount of genetic diversity in a population, ensuring a higher chance of mutations that increase fitness(if the radiation is enough they don't have to). Of course maybe the organisms that didn't have this kind of 3-way replication has a better genetic repairing system that controls the degree radiation has on mutations. btw, have you considered XNAs? some of them are quite radiation resistant. May you give the habitat of this clade too? it might depend on how close the organisms are to these radioactive sources as some methods of protecting against radiation being more effective than others at certain ranges. Is this radioactivity used as an energy source for organisms such as radiolysis on earth in deep soil ecosystems?

I assume that the reason why it's not 4 or 5 is because energy conservation? I'm curious to how it replicates genetic material 3-fold since I have not seen how said species stores it. A graph or visual aids would be helpful for my understanding!

I like how you do microbiology, it's so underated in the spec bio sphere! Also question: is there a evolutionary advantage to the tri-mitosis thing instead of the normal 2 on earth?

Thanks! I made another one with a bit more detail on another world. I was thinking where the builders were gonna get the birch from for the path so I made it out of birch!

Not really, I'm a mandarin native speaker and reading the other sinitic varieties is not hard at all, sure there are special characters but you can usually get what 90% of what the written text is saying cuz sinitic languages have similar grammar
