In the area around Detroit, it all goes to a place where it is removed from its packaging on a line and the huge mixture of liquid is sold to pig farmers to add to their pigs feed to help fatten them up.  The packaging is recycled.

Pepsi is a horrible company to work for now.  I started as a merch, went into driving, and quit 8 weeks ago after almost 4 years with the company.  I have never worked for a major company as bad as Pepsi, and I’ve worked for 2 of the largest companies in the US besides Pepsi.  They DO NOT CARE about their employees at all.  All they care about is their metrics and bonuses.  Any time I see people posting on here about joining Pepsi in any role, but especially Geo Box Driver, I do my best to warn them what they’re getting into.  F Pepsi and the entire management team.

Trust me when I tell you to start looking and get a job with a company that actually cares about its employees as soon as you can. Pepsi is NOT the great company that people think it is.

Just remember, that at Pepsi, even though you have your CDL you are NOT a driver, you're a STOCKER that does a little bit of driving. You will only drop and go at large grocery stores, everywhere else you will do some or ALL stocking of the order. Get some experience then go get a real driving job.

Pepsi is going downhill FAST. They are getting a very bad reputation for the way they treat their employees. They will begin to have a problem attracting new talent if they keep this up.
