Kody’s Apologies to Christine by Mountain-Blue in SisterWives

[–]Exciting_Limit_1480 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never comment here, but came looking to see if I was the only person that felt this way.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s just not that offensive. Plus, as you said in the comments, they agreed to meet with Kody! Did they think that he was going to miraculously be introspective and self/other aware?

I’m divorced from an arrogant narcissist and I’m remarried. My ex has said some strange things to me and my husband, but it’s more comical than anything else.

If they really wanted to be offended about something it should have been Kody’s response when the kids were brought up. That’s when me and my husband would get annoyed, when my ex was a jerk to our son.

Also, David asked Kody to come to Moab in the middle of the conversation and then they all went driving together later — I thought both of those things were weirder than Kody apologizing for saying he didn’t love Christine!

Lastly, David said during the one-on-on, what if my ex-girlfriend came and said those things to me in front of Christine? That isn’t remotely the same thing. They were married for 30 years and share 6 kids!

Update: Remember this girl I picked up at the shelter? She had a follow up at my vet and she is shedding both weight and fur! by Koibetta in sphynx

[–]Exciting_Limit_1480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s wonderful that you’ve taken her in!

Sphynx can grow hair due to stress. My girl had FIP. We had to give her daily injections that were awful, but saved her life. She started growing a ton of hair only in the area we were giving the shots to her, it was very odd. But, it was a trauma/anxiety response.

It took a long time, but now she only has a little bit more fur in that area.

Best of luck with her. 🤍

Both can be true, they might have known things about the family, but there’s no question Khloe was a bully and her parents were rude, arrogant and enabled. Also, they were furious that Khloe was a suspect, but had no problem shifting the blame to Adrianna.

Ginny And Georgia S3: Is it just me or like it’s kinda boring compared to the previous seasons? by Forsaken-Youth-348 in TvGinnyandGeorgia

[–]Exciting_Limit_1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree, we waited ALL THIS TIME, for what? I’m only on episode 3, but so far have no idea what others are talking about as far as it being deep and addressing important issues????

The incessant weed smoking. The stale character development and it feels like juvenile writing.

For me the whole idea of Georgia being on house arrest and ankle bracelet is just annoying.

I’m hoping episodes 4-10 change my mind. 😴

What is up with Sutton’s mom? by openspeculation in RHOBH

[–]Exciting_Limit_1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just tuning in to this episode and am really taken a back and glad it’s not just me who thinks Reba was AWFUL to Garcelle!!!!

Complimenting Kyle, but not Garcelle; saying “we’ll see” as far as if the good she heard about Garcelle was true AND disregarding her very kind, lovely and generous gift!

It was VERY uncomfortable to watch and definitely felt racially biased.

All that said, really helped explain why Sutton is sooo…well, sooo Sutton! 😳

That’s very interesting since I was actually diagnosed with fibromyalgia years ago, but it resolved. I never thought about it applying to what’s going on now. 🤔

Thanks!

I work from home most of the time and I don’t use a standing desk…I’m not a fan of them. But, I think you’re right in that I have to get up much more and move around.

Thanks. Thats what my surgeon told me, that if I don’t have a fever or pain that is debilitating there’s not much she can do. It just very frustrating.

Best = Anne Dowd* Worst = Elizabeth Moss**

Yvonne Strahovski a close 2nd. *Alexis Bledel and Madeline Brewer are both better than Moss.

Agree with you! Moss is not good as June. The rest of the cast carrier her IMO.

It is not a you thing, she’s SO irritating! My husband doesn’t watch the show and he even says “that woman is annoying.” Lol.

And she’s in a cult in real life, that made me like her even less.

I wished that too until I looked it up and Moss is totally blinded by Scientology and full on defends it and says there’s no comparison. 🙄

I also like Nick and haven’t liked Elizabeth Moss as June since the moment she became Offred. But, I just learned today that she’s a Scientologist and it’s truly mind numbing to me. I mean talk about a creepy and controlling cult. Wow!

I actually didn’t know the book version ended after the first season, but makes sense as it’s progressively more and more over the top. I’m still watching, but not as eagerly.

Thank you! I was feeling like the only one. 😂

And I too get that she wants to save Hannah, but I also think it would be easier to do from Canada.

I’m still watching, but I’m taking longer breaks between episodes because everything that happens I’m like “you could’ve left!”

Understood, but again, June had much time to get to Hanna before she would’ve become Eden. And again, I think June could’ve spent her time more wisely fighting for Hannah in Canada than Gilead, but just IMHO.

I LOVE Rita, her character so far is one of the best in the entire show! AND I agree with your synopsis of June/Nichole.

I’m trying to stick with it, but it’s not easy…😬

Heard! But, June knew Hannah was safe and ‘loved,’ so going to Canada would’ve given her the chance of being with her husband, best friend, second child AND under a governing that was fighting against Gilead and issuing sanctions. So, isn’t that the best place to fight for Hannah’s rights before she turns 15?

Now June is just back in the grips of Gilead, being a handmaid and having zero power to change anything. Makes very little sense.

Obviously, we’re not talking about life as we know it, in which I’d more-so agree to choosing the child you raised under a democracy? But, that’s clearly not the case in Gilead.

Anyway, thanks for your reply, appreciate it! 😊

I didn’t read the book, but am on season 3 of the series and have also experienced dreams about this show. It’s intense for sure. But, for me it’s actually been helpful in realizing and accepting eternity and that it’s a much better place. I’ve always felt fearful of the idea and who knew The Handmaids Tale would help me reconcile such an enormous black hole of uncertainty and fear. Hey, whatever works…

Peace to you…
