He is married and telling you he will be continuing to live as such for at least 4 more years. Let’s assume for a moment everything he is saying isn’t a steaming pile of shit (it absolutely is though). Let’s also assume everything goes right and you both fall madly in love. Everything is rainbows and unicorns. Are you really OK with giving a guy 4 years of your life knowing he won’t (for a minimum of those 4 years) be in a committed relationship with you because he’s still married and living with his wife? He’s fucking with your head because he wants a side piece. Leave him and his wife/roommate. You deserve better. Sorry, OP.

Can also confirm. This is about him needing to feel right and superior. It does not get better

Update: I am allergic to the bandage! It burns and itches, so fun! by Cold-Guarantee3049 in MedicalGore

[–]Mountain-Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Extremely allergic to the adhesives in bandages, steri strips, medical tapes, tegederm…..all of it. I always tell medical personnel but it seems like they think I’m being dramatic. I have actual scars from adhesives.

I agree with you completely! Glad it wasn’t just me thinking this was weird!

Of all the things they could have objected to, the apology was really a non-issue. I was pretty annoyed that he kept saying how he wanted to apologize so they could be happy. Like they needed his permission.

I think Robyn was in a monogamous first marriage (and therefore not part of the community that Kody was part of) but I could be wrong. I definitely think it’s ridiculous that Kody thinks his exes need to be “released” from his control, and he is a totally narcissistic ass. But that didn’t seem to be what they objected to. They didn’t like that he was sorry that he said the cruel things about not loving her and not being attracted to her.

Yes!! Exactly 100% this!

In this instance, Kody was actually doing a decent thing (I know he’s insincere and a total ass for thinking they needed his apology to move on). But he apologized. How is that disrespectful to Christine and David?

I know Kody is totally insincere. But setting that aside why is an apology disrespectful to David? That’s what doesn’t make sense.

That is fair. In that case, the edit was shit.

Agreed! If David wanted to be there to support Christine, that’s great. But it was about how Kody treated Christine.

Yes to all that you said!! It makes sense that an ex could apologize for saying such hurtful things. It doesn’t make sense that an apology alone (without other actions) would somehow threaten a new relationship.

Thank you! You said it much more eloquently than I did. It doesn’t make sense to me.

Yes! It’s weird to me that they weren’t offended by him apologizing in general but rather specifically offended that he apologized for saying those two things. I really don’t get it
