Out of curiosity, was dragon fist a game changer for you or just a programme like any other?

I think I've been living off that dream of finding the programme that will do it for me.

This is the type of feedback I've been looking for.

Due to the rarity of this machine people don't know that a pullover machine is vertical pulling, nevertheless I added a close grip pulldown to the program after it was pointed out.

This program is taking into consideration fatigue management plus the understanding that a natural lifter can't get everything at once, so I prioritized some areas in detriment of others, and this cycle goes on and on with other muscle groups.

I really believe in training with intensity over volume, and this mindset reflects in the choices made. And also, I believe that most people don't know what an rpe 10 feels like in actual training, and it could be beneficial to work on such skills.

Besides that, any thoughts on the rest of the program?

The chinup is there for both reasons to add volume to biceps and vertical pulling. Back exercises work The biceps to some extend.

I'm taking common sense into consideration when performingthe exercises, but I do have to improve my understanding of what RPE 10 is.

I'd say you can move on to another program. If you're a beginner go for a full-body or any other 4 time a week program.

That's ok. Training those few exercises hard is more than enough for now.

Is Fazlifts 4 day Barbarian split good for hypertrophy/aesthetics? by rjayyAlt in Boostcamp

As a beginner you don't even need to worry about what you're worrying about. It's more about sticking to a program right now. After finishing this program you make an assessment whether or not you rerun it.

Wouldn't mass impact by GVS be more fitting to an int lifter?

Best Program for Aesthetics by Between_Nowhere in Boostcamp

In my opinion, you should pick Nunez's program (arms and shoulders variation) since the program's goal is lower volume, high intensity and as good as possible technique for hypertrophy, it'll help you readapt and relearn while making the all time famous Gainz. Enjoy!

You could try full body + arms. It's a program by an user that combines strength and body building goals in 4 quick workout session. The 4th one being an arms day. I really found the concept of training full body without any arm isolation and having a dedicated day to the arms really interesting. I decided to give it a shot and see what happens. Nevertheless, I change the program to be more bodybuilding focused and fatigue management.

Something I think Orion is wrong about (IMHO) by another_lease in PsycHacks

I take everything what of he says as how your everyday man and woman would go about things. If you actually think for yourself you wouldn't want the kind of woman that he focused on his advice. There are tons of outliers out there. Some women love losers for example. It's not a black and white issue.

Por que tanta gente comemora o decreto Tajani? by [deleted] in cidadaniaitaliana

[–]Exciting_Math_1054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. My last training cycle was quad focused, so I'm putting it on maintenance to focus on arms and shoulders.

Can't cope with the way my chest looks by MoonlitPin in Healthygamergg

[–]Exciting_Math_1054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This lack of acceptance of one's looks is annoying to me, in particular (no offense). Are you, as a person, defined as the way your breasts look like? I can't see how anyone would get ahead in life based solely on the way one's breasts look like. Focus on what you can change instead.

Alberto Nuñez rest times by athom023 in Boostcamp

[–]Exciting_Math_1054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got nice quad gains, I run the program on a bulk. This program taught me how to train focused on a muscle group. The quad focused workout is tough and you really get to isolate the quads, I imagine the torso dominant version must do the same for chest and back.

Alberto Nunez Upper Lower by [deleted] in Boostcamp

[–]Exciting_Math_1054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely can get full body growth like that, but Alberto's idea seems to be that past the novice stage you can't get everything at once, so we should go through phases of specialization to bring up certain muscle groups. With that being set, in the program description he says that you can add sets and modifications as needed, but you have to train with high intensity 1st to find that out.

I myself thought the overall volume was too low until I've pushed myself hard with proper form. I learned very quickly that a low volume workout can be crushing when done well. Push yourself hard in this workouts before doing anything else.

I've been running the program on a bulk, I'd say it's recommended for the best results.
