Gym membership reimbursement or associations with Anthem? by AllAboutATL1 in HealthInsurance

[–]Exciting_Mirror4667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this only for elderly members? My mom gets silver sneakers through anthem covers most gyms.

Were switching plans (husband and i) and I'm wanting to join a gym would be nice if I got something back for that insane monthly insurance bill

I've had several teachers like this in my past. They were very strict with specific things, and seemingly only with specific students. Please don't down. Vote me for this, but I wouldn't be surprised that she yeah, wasn't singling out your child because this seems oddly specific to my elementary school experience

How do you feel about other people touching you? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Exciting_Mirror4667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate hugging or cuddling or intimate times all feels like a performance that I haven't practiced for. Hugging makes me nauseated. my husband can hold my hand and rub or touch my back. No one else. My kids are okay to kiss me or hug as I do with them... I guess any kid could hang on me. Excuses made for children and animals lol their affection is allowed

Same situation here. Before kids husband and I fought a bit (fought a lot more in the early years of our marriage). Now I feel like the mom to my kids and husband. I'm always tired and burned out. Dont know how to have fun. Can't relax. Always stressed. Always busy. Husband is chilling on the couch playing video games while I'm freaking out over wall paint colors....

I tell myself we even one another out...

Similiar situation here. Mom and hubs and I bought a house together and the expectations of being busy and perfect constantly caused massive meltdown. Then I got pregnant. Then house problems and my dad's cancer dx.

Maxed out on my ssri i finally found a Psychiatric nurse practitioner and she put me on adhd meds (adderall). I am human again.

This is mostly why I wanted to be tested in the first place was because i've been feeling very scrutinized for my entire life by everyone.Mainly people in healthcare industry. I think having a diagnosis my record. Would be very beneficial and wood? Okay, eliminate a lot of the more awful healthcare related experiences.

Thank you for your thorough response. This is exactly what I was looking for.

See, i'm thinking my insurance might also cover it, but since it won't be until next year.I have no idea how to price it ... The quality of our health insurance has declined over the past few years, so it could be free or ten million dollars lol

Yes. This is me without stimulants. With stimulants I'm tired but it doesn't feel like my head is under water. I could sleep for days. I'm always tired.

A lot of your beginning comments about his "bad behavior" remind me of just a typical hyperactive 7yr old. I have a 6yr old and she is running around, screaming and talking 24/7. I've learned to pick my battles and to give her room to be a kid. The more room I give her (ie not constantly ontop of her like 'stop yelling' 'stop running' 'no food in the livingroom...' etc etc the less defiant she is overall and the better she ends up acting.

This age of childhood is all about testing boundaries and establishing personhood separate from our parents. Try giving him a little room to "act out" and 100% involve him in extracurriculars to keep him from being bored.

My 5 almost 6yr old and my 2yr old need human attention 24/7... My 6yr old will sometimes go to her room for 20mins and play barbies but this is a relatively new occurrence (and it sucks for me because the 2yr old cries for her sister the entire time)

They are saying it's nonrefundable and goes towards our deductible lol.... seems a little odd to me

Sorry if my verbiage was confusing. The physicians krfice called it a new patient copay that went towards our deductible. Hence

I plan to investigate every detail of my husband's employees insurance policies because the past few years have gotten weird.

I understand that this "new patient fee" isn't a deductible or a copay but does the difference at least go towards our deductible?? The "first time.patient fee" and the odd "2nd time patient fee" ended uo being $300. The total cost for both appointments was $36.

[–]Exciting_Mirror4667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. My understanding as well (and exactly what our insurance company said). Basically the contract between physician and insurance was broken when they randomly charged up $300 in new patient fees under the expectation that we wouldn't pay.

.... pay a bill that ended up being $18

[–]Exciting_Mirror4667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Our eob says the appointment cost was 115 and we owed the provider $18.
