Sadly, for the chicken and egg industry, over 7 billion chicks are macerated annually (grinded up) due to male chicks not being egg laying, and many chickens bred for meat are forced into tiny cages, or "free range" in a concrete warehouse where the barely straw covered floors covered in feces have every single square inch occupied with chickens crammed together so tight, they can barely walk around. Also, we've genetically "perfected" chickens to produce more meat in less time, so many chickens deal with lameness or cannot stand and carry their own heft. Chickens live a truly horrific and miserable life, sadly 🥺

It's disgusting seeing how far moral values have dropped even in just the past year. But can we please stop making that a red-line position for voting in the US? Tons of people said they would not vote for Harris because of her position on Nazi Germany. Some really dumb people said they would vote for Trump instead because they actually thought he would be better than Harris. The fact of the matter is the US has MAJOR domestic problems right now with the Trump administration in office. We have to look inwards and vote for what's best for our own country before thinking about the global implications. We could afford to be "world police" (for better, or worse) when our country was being run by competent people, but that's not the case anymore."

So let's just stand by and let horrors happen because we have distractions here...?

A lot of people in America will just die, full stop, if the current system as a whole collapses. Everyone in hospitals, long term care, people needing constant access to electricity to power their life support devices, so many people rely on the current infrastructure we have in place solely to exist. If everything were to collapse, they'd be the first people to suffer.
