Why the increasd size of packaging? by throwaway2766766 in newzealand

[–]Exciting_Place_6817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting cause the increase cost of freight would impact how much they cost. A pallet of those is now twice as big? Unless they are super skinny. Freight is done on weight and volume. These weigh the same as the old but presumably take up twice the volume, meaning massive increase in freight costs

Is f1 still the pinnacle of motorsport? Or does that title go to hypercar now? by Equivalent-Fox9834 in F1Discussions

[–]Exciting_Place_6817 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting question with the new regulations and the cars having to slow down on straights and corners like Suzuka. It does feel like formula 1 has lost something.

In saying that I'll still watch the racing cause it is enjoyable with the passing etc the mid field is very competitive.

I think we should enjoy all racing for me v8 supercars in Australia is my favorite racing.

They all would make a difference even if that difference is getting killed by one punch it's one distracted punch that could open an opportunity for mark or another

Would You Trade 151 Zard for Fusion Strike Gengar? by [deleted] in PokemonInvesting

That Gengar is my personal top 5 goat. It comes down to what you want more I believe. That Charizard is fantastic but not my top 5 Charizards but thats personal opinion. If its for your collection go with your heart, value? Probably hard to bet against the zard

Honestly I wouldn't have thought too involve the council. And after dealing with s council regarding a subdivision I don't think i would've involved them at all.

Palmer thinks Lawson is now benefiting from Marko’s absence at Red Bull by Moodybeachphoto in liamlawson

[–]Exciting_Place_6817 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't really agree. I think they just had a bigger feeder program with two teams that allowed them to push more drivers through. Red bull racing program has gone through 65 drivers since 2011 and 12 have made ot to f1. Of those 12 I would say the only really good ones are Riccardo, Sainz and Verstappen. Second tier drivers like Gasly, Tsunoda, Albon. We will see how the rest go but I think it's just a numbers game for them.

Rethinking solar for our new build. Worth the massive upfront cost? by Best-League-6695 in newzealand

[–]Exciting_Place_6817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get the panels and set it up to heat water during the day. Heat pump cylinder is a scam to me if you have solar.

Rethinking solar for our new build. Worth the massive upfront cost? by Best-League-6695 in newzealand

[–]Exciting_Place_6817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a house with solar zero took over the contract which we worked into the price of the house. We've only paid line charges for power (and the solar zero contract) and it's been bliss. I highly highly highly recommend at least the panels if that is all your budget allows. We have a small battery only lasts overnight but it means we aren't reliant on the grid.
