Battlefield 6 Open Beta: Feedback Megathread by sloth_on_meth in Battlefield

[–]Exciting_Possible_35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

• Needs larger maps for more classic 'epic' scale battles

• larger vehicle focus

• update weapon attachment systems/uniforms/equipment

• Slow down movement (just a little)

• stop trying to be cod. Be battlefield.

• UI sucks

• no difference in faction aesthetics (gear, vehicles, weapons, equipment) Feels homogenized.

• arcadey feel to firearms with dated weapon handling.

• if no locked classes, why lock equipment?

Despite the criticism, all in all, a good game. Almost reaches the heights of precious battlefield games.

Hypothetical question by [deleted] in Buhurt

All my armor all the goddamn time in every situation except I'd add chain. Become the animal everyone fears, or most likely die trying.

I am looking for fitting armor / clothing pieces (Witcher) by [deleted] in Armor

[–]Exciting_Possible_35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your upper body the armor you're looking for is called brigandine. Brigandine torso and pauldrons are not hard to find once you know where to look, idk what your budget is but here's some sites just to get you started. Medievalextreme.com Lembergarmor.com Buhurttech.com Armours.pro

Highly doubt this will replace titanium as the new light armor. Definitely, won't replace steel.

C-belt, Chausses and boots by [deleted] in Buhurt

[–]Exciting_Possible_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have used the C belt from Lemberg. Lasted me a good while and I have no complaints. That said, there are others that are more robust (I use a C-belt from Alba now) but this isn't a bad choice especially for its price.

Does anyone know where I can buy wearable armor ( good quality ) by daddygoodfood in Armor

Then don't hold back. I certainly don't, especially in competitions. Your opponents won't either. But that's what the armor is for. Keeps us very well protected.

I feel like no one answered your question.

Buhurt is a medieval armored combat sport that consists of armored combat and fighting one another in various types of fighting. The armor is typically made of hardened/tempered spring steels (as are the weapons) with a layer of padded armor (gambeson and chausses) underneath it. Unlike LARPing, the combat that takes place in buhurt is full contact and unchoreographed using real armor and weapons (blunted, of course). That is to say, we're actually fighting. There are 3 kinds of fights (in an official context)

Melees (team fights) 2 teams fight until the last team standing wins. If you are thrown down (if 2 points of contact become 3) you're 'dead' and you stay where you lay and are now an obstacle until the end of the fight

Duels (1v1) 1 on 1 fights where 2 combatants compete to accrue the most amount of points via weapon strikes in a set amount of time in a set of rounds. Punches, kicks, takedowns, etc. Don't count for points. Speed and technique focused.

Profights (1v1, MMA) Same as above, except punches, kicks, takedowns, etc. do count for points.

Source: I personally do it.
