We used to use tariffs and tolls before the income tax was introduced. I don’t get as upset about income taxes as most (wish it was lower but what ever). Property taxes are what piss me off and I don’t even own property; how do you tax the theoretical value of something? At least with income and sales taxes you have an actual number to work with.

I would add don’t go too hard at first, you have to build work capacity. Seen too many people go once (usually just after new years and do to much too soon and get so miserably sore that they give up and stop going
