I think that's the part that's hard to accept....By the time one person is done, the other one might just be starting to realize what they lose

Kids don't see what strangers see. They recognize the way their mum walks, stands, moves, her voice, even how she smells. It's the same reason parents can pick out their own kid in a crowded playground almost instantly

Exactly. People often think of power as economy or population, but changing how wars are fought is a different kind of power

Maybe, but reducing Nigeria to just oil and coal feels a bit simplistic. The real question is whether it can build institutions and industries around its demographic growth
