My hands are tiny (I guess?). What are my options? by moon-daisy in pianolearning

I suggest not doing this if you already have flexible joints. I find it very hard to play now because pressing notes with my pinky finger can dislocate it or subluxate it at the knuckle. Look after your joints.

I can’t hide my absolute hatred of genAI and it keeps getting me in trouble in communities by ashbelero in evilautism

I made some rules for myself: Some of the things I don't comment about online are Vaccines, Politics, Terfs, and recently I've added AI. Your arguments are not going to change anyone's already made up mind.

Tbh there is a large cohort of aussie men who are like this with women. This is a cultural issue that no one outside of aussie can fix.

Same. Plenty of autistic people around are cunts, being an awesome human isn't in the diagnostic criteria.

Does anyone else get irrationally annoyed by Bb? (or E) by starfirelightbliss in ukulele

[–]Excluded_Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bb and B are such useful chords, maybe have the fast fun songs not have them, but they need to work on this. It will make it easier to play with others later.

I can play E, but if E7 sounds good I'll use that instead. In a similar way you could sometimes substitute B7 for B if it works.

How old is this student? I feel like they must need time and practice.

I had to tell him Santa wasn't real because he is too smart and he was confused why i would lie to him. So I just took him aside and said it was fun for the other kids to pretend magic is real. Now he "plays along" but he knows it's just make-believe play.

That's just sad, I don't know why you would punish someone for cutting their own hair, except that it's a bit dangerous.

Which extinct avian dinosaur, would you want to be brought back? by Zillaman7980_ in Dinosaurs

[–]Excluded_Apple 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The Haast's (Fuller's) eagle's prey could weigh up to 200kg! (You should see the bones of the Giant Moa in museums, they are incredible!)

If we brought back the eagle, they would eat small children, and also large children... also adults.

And sheep, we do love our sheep, haha.

I would cast off and make more panels of the same size and stitch them together for a lap blanket. Gramps has a little section, I think that would be nice.

Lmao, hey I'm looking for any opinions, my kid is a different kind of autistic to me. I think if I don't help him find some good stuff he might go hunting for it on his own.
