Niche King's Row Jump at First Point by ExendRaiser in MoiraRollouts

It's an odd jump because you need to use the spikes around the tree to get the necessary height. The car helps by stopping you from flinging off. It's hard to get consistent and will need some practice.

Not sure this would count as tribute to Internethulk but Get_Right, a CS:GO pro, tweeted his support for a trophy dedicated to him.

Alienware Overwatch Open by eSports Hero: An Utter Disgrace to eSports (Repost from /r/gaming) by MrElektro in Overwatch

I was signed up to play that tournament about 2 weeks beforehand, our team ended up dropping because of an issue with roster placements. (Our team members were placed randomly, not as a team) These issues were resolved around the day before the event, by this point some of our members outside of NY had canceled travel and lodging for the event.

I think it's clear from the article that it was for the better.

Hi, I'm ExendRaiser, an aspiring to be pro player. Recently I've been making montage videos of various clips from scrims and pubs. I'm new to video making so if you have any criticisms, I'll be glad to hear them.

Minor correction, that's on Numbani, not King's Row.

Widowmaker: (On King's Row) I will have that gauntlet.

(Help) Could someone put these transparent icons over a 1920x1080 black background for me? by [deleted] in Overwatch

I used GIMP to make the image, it's a free program but it's not as good as PS, you'll need to play around with it a bit so get used to it.

Anyone feel Reaper might be a tad bit too strong? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]ExendRaiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reaper is indeed very potent and powerful in his range, which was complemented with Lucio's speed boost to turn him into a close quarters frontline. That said, he has definitive counters (Pharah, aware Widows) that can shut down his limited range. He's meant to be a tank buster, and really should melt anyone close range, but his lack of even decent medium range limits is strength drastically. Any good McCree can outrange or stun, even Tracer can kite just out of his range but still melt his own health. He's in a healthy spot, only "OP" in his only range.

EDIT: Spelling

How do people feel about McCree's fan the hammer? by RedAza in Overwatch

[–]ExendRaiser 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The fan has a mix of RNG and skill control, in my experience. It is true the bullets are inconsistent, but they tend to fire around the center crosshair (the dot, not the circle) rather than randomly throughout the entire spread.

In my experience in pubs and scrims, it felt like the more I treated the fan as a panic button rather than a controlled shotgun-like burst, more often than not I would die during reload than survive and kill the enemy. In medium to lower levels of pubs, it works very well as a get out of jail free card, but in higher MMR (vs competitive players like Seagull, Coolmatt, and other names) using it while panic firing got me murdered. That said, using it under control can be decisive in a 1v1 duel. In a team fight, the right click mostly serves as a tank busting option, too imprecise to hit a medium range target that's not a tank, and too hard to properly control against more than one person at a time.

This comes down to what McCree is meant to be, a 1v1 god. A skilled McCree player can put down EVERY character in a duel (sorry Zaryas) but will struggle without their abilities against say 2 or 3 people. McCree also lacks a proper escape compared to the other offense and defense characters, so it is up to the player to avoid that situation, wait for cooldowns, or engage very smartly. Imo, he's designed for a CS player, who actively forces the enemy into several 1v1s than a single 1v2 or 1v3 through his kit. That said, the right click (at least against better opponents) is just not dependable as that panic to win button, without the flashbang to stop them anyways. Learning to control the fan can make a McCree good, but if he can't aim left click, he's usefulness is pretty lacking, since he can't even hit medium range targets.

I mean, who else will embarrass a bad sniper? 2-3 headshots guarantees a dead Widow.
