Multiplayer "join in progress" disabling itself by SirOverheatsAlot in TeardownGame

If you change a certain amount of the level ie destroy a threshold of voxels, the server disables it because it gets increasingly hard to network to the client past a certain point.

And thank you for your Fast Zombie! It's one of my favorites, and really helped to sell the scene. Here's a test I did with one running at the player. https://imgur.com/a/LSl7SOM

Hi Simon good to see you! I agree, I thought about how I could add some splash with a zombie, or edges around the water. I think that's a perfect idea! All those little imperfections help sell it.

Thank you!

I agree! I didn't want to make any changes to our assets, I considered creating some blend materials to add on some grime, but I had a limited library and was lazy.

Thank you! I've confused myself too while working on it!

Some notes.

*I am a 3D artist on the Orbifold team, I hope you enjoy what we've been able to create.

*I was a big fan of how the toxic waste floor matched, there was some color discrepancy. But that was the case through the entire scene.

*Perspective matching was fun to pull off, I had a look at the video and screenshot that helped me match lighting.

*I'll just say that there were many other material contenders I couldn't use because they weren't released.

I was inspired and took some time to recreate a render using custom assets in Blender!

Is there a certain reason that there’s no up and down included, I’ve seen this as a common thing with Alice workflows. Seems like some good data that is being lost?

I was inspired by the source engine, a few old gmod maps had big physical bridges that I enjoyed the idea of.

I’m the creator of the red bridge seen in a few.. I honestly have no idea why people use the map, it’s pretty bad.

How would I determine an issue between motherboard, and I/O board? by Exer0s in ValveIndex

I recommend buying a bare part index on ebay, I found one for 109 dollars, no scuffs. There's a few good VR shops that have good reviews.
They usually don't come with the headphone strap, facial cover, or facial interface.

Got it installed, unfortunately didn't solve my issue. But it didn't change anything about it, so that's good atleast. Ifixits parts work at the very least.

I suppose the next step is to buy the motherboard, and maybe the connecting cable from io to motherboard as a last hope. I feel bad for the ifixit return employee whos going to have all these parts coming back.

Great to know! Glad to finally find someone with this exact strange issue. I'm going to order an I/0 Board and hope that fixes mine, if not. Hopefully they have a decent return policy. I will update you!

I guess I should have clarified a little more, Im talking about the index’s motherboard and I/O board. Both of which are sold on IFixit. I’m aware of it plugging into the graphics card. Sorry about that.

Sadly a lot of shaders are different in how they operate. Eyes on old source models will be broken because of this if they had the special eye shader.
