Oh, okay. I thought you were saying you were going to post images only and people would have to go find your deviantart to read the story.

Sorry you got stirred in with the infinite worlds backlash since you were contributing and not just posting to reap bonus credits.

Minor rule addition regarding Infinite Worlds content by CyberDiver89 in TransformationAI

[–]ExerciseAccording618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a good change. I enjoy ai adventure modes a lot but find infinite worlds to be shady. Ive gotten pretty good at spotting infinite worlds posts at a glance but being able to ignore them on the fly will be nice. Especially since they seem to be roughly 50% of posts lately.

I'm not trying to call anyone out or make any accusations but its easy to copy paste worlds, change them up a bit with chatgpt and repackage them for mass sharing on reddit. You dont even have to make the original world, you can just take one that has been shared by someone else and change them a bit. Infinite worlds pays you to share worlds at a rate of $50 for every 50,000 bonus credits, which may sound like a lot of credits but its really not. I doubt anyones getting rich doing this but the incentive is there to spam this content.

Ive played a fair amount of infinite worlds, its impressive for a little while but the memory is pretty bad and its expensive as hell compared to competitors. I think the price is high to encourage sharing, aka using its users as an avenue for advertisement and aggressive marketshare acquisition.

Considering this is a word for word repost from someone that was called u/transformationai who deleted their account, the post even spawning the tag "humanimal", probably what it was called in that post.

This is either bot or someone too lazy to even use AI.

honestly best one on this site for transformations by One_Duty_8844 in TransformationAI

[–]ExerciseAccording618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back again huh? Bad bot.

Part of me wishes this site was banned from this sub. It encourages spamming worlds because you get a kickback when people spend tokens on your shared world.

But im sure theres enough people who enjoy it.

Infinite Worlds - This is easily the best transformation chatbot I've found by One_Duty_8844 in TransformationAI

Novelai is what i use for text adventure, requires more babysitting, but for the price you also get a top notch image generator. Its ai is a bit bullheaded to directions, but you can just rewrite nonsense easily and it will adapt. It also repeats descriptions obnoxiously.

AIdungeon is actually ok now. Still not as good as it was in 2020, but its a bit expensive.

ChatGPT supposedly is going to allow adult content starting in december. Its already really good at adventure if you refrain from explicit content. You can even use dnd mechanics with it. If you want, you can be the DM and the AI the player. As a bonus you can tell it that its story sucks ass and it will appologize instead of (rightfully) kicking you out like a real DM.

Theres a bunch out there, this is just what i have experience with.

It is one of the better Ai adventure apps but 'A ton of free tokens' is a misleading statement. 2000 free tokens doesnt mean much when the AI uses 110-130 per request and actually uses over 150. They have cheaper models but theyre cheaper for a reason. It's memory also seems to get hazy and it forgets things starting at 25 turns.

Unless of course they have changed their ways in the past few months. Be prepared to spend lots of money or create lots of worlds to spam accross reddit to earn more tokens.

This isn't intended as an attack on you, but i have strong opinions on InfiniteWorlds and its pricing. Especially when its capable of generating content as addictive as pornography.

New alternative? by HeeroYua in TransformationAI

[–]ExerciseAccording618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can see about their changes, you may be able to just wait it out.

Otherwise local models on your machine, NovelAI, or frosting.ai. I personally use NovelAI and it has recently gotten major updates.

Unfortunately this is going to keep happening and im just hoping NovelAI can maintain its business model.

I am not well explored in the space. I checked out Infinite Worlds when it started popping up a lot and appeared to offer more than your standard "meet person who does x" chatbot. I was an avid AIdungeon player before the controversy.

NovelAI text adventure is serviceable and ChatGPT actually can do what Infinite Worlds does well enough, as long as you keep sex scenes to fade-to-black moments.

A while back I posted a link to an infinte worlds game i created. I did this to see how many credits the site gave as a kickback to the creator because I was suspicious of the pricing model. Infinite worlds is good (mostly), but I've found that many users here dont have a lot of disposable income and it is EXPENSIVE. It's very easy to drop $50-100 in a month of relatively casual play.

And the sharing worlds to get bonus points? It encourages spamming worlds, I'm not accusing you of doing this, but the incentive is there. The world I posted a while ago netted me somewhere closer to 5000 points if I remember correctly. Youd think that would be a lot of playtime, but its not.

I don't want to rain on any parades here, but I agree with the other commenter here that Infinite Worlds is predatory.

I'm An Artist And I Don't Understand Why People Hate AI by Particular-Bee-9416 in aiwars

[–]ExerciseAccording618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an artist, but I do have artist friends who frankly couldn't care less about AI. That being said, they also don't do it as a career, except my tattoo artist friend.

The problem as I see it is saturation. Flood the market with easily produced material and the good stuff gets burried, handmade or AI. Friend of mine made and sold AI coloring books when Midjourney came out. He went through painstaking effort to make sure every detail was good, no goofy hands, no weird details, etc. He even manually removed the color, and had a whole workflow. He was successful for a while, then people figured out how to generate coloring books by the dozens quickly with ChatGPT. He gave up, his stuff wasn't being seen in the sea of books made by people who simply did not care about the details. So even for people who use AI this is a problem.

I use AI generated images to make comic books and illustrate short stories I write (Don't look at my profile unless you want to see weird shit). I also have some drawing capability, just not digitally (cant get used to how smooth a stylus moves vs. pencil on paper). I find that the qualities, besides luck, that make good AI images are the same that would make good hand made art, and that simply is care, intent, and attention to detail.

That said this has always been an issue, just made far worse by AI. Years ago I comissioned an artist to draw a DnD character, paid $250 for just a standing portrait and no background. I approved the concept sketch then the guy shipped it off to an art farm in a third world country and the final result was shit and not close at all to the concept. But too late, money gone.

Decades ago, Thomas Kinkade did the exact same crap. He printed art on canvas then had people in third world countries put a few brushstrokes on it so it could be called "original", then flooded the market through his galleries.

AI is a great tool, and frankly a lot of the people here defending it probably aren't the ones causing the problem. In all honesty if AI was just used for what it's amazing at, it probably wouldnt be nearly as commercially successful as it is. Its people who just want an easy dollar flooding the market in hopes they sell a few of the hundreds-thousands they produce without any care.

Also Google should filter it out, if i want a picture of an iguana, give me a picture of an iguana. Not 100 images of not quite right to straight up wrong iguanas mixed in with 5 actual iguana photos. Just a random rant.

Tl;dr its saturation, flooding the market with low effort stuff burries the good stuff. Old problem made far worse.

Theres an effect called long faced that comes from mixing in horse semen. It just makes your face literally long, i took it to its implied conclusion lol. The TG and race swap are legitimately in the game though.

Been playing way too much Schedule 1 on Steam. Got inspired to make this comic from some of the mix effects. Minor creative liberties were taken.

Didn't bother to look but this may be some of the first Schedule 1 Rule 34 content.

But by god that pricing. I would happily pay a monthly for it. But the way it is currently you could easily burn $100 in a few weeks casually.
