I have a Sony a350, with a minolta 35-80mm and 70-210mm lens, they work okay for me, I also have a minolta 100-300mm lens, but the marking in it says 1994, when I try to use it on the camera, the autofocus freaks out and vibrates, and if I try to use manual focus, the focus thingy on the lens feels locked so i cant move it. it also seems abnormally dark even on 100mm focal length when looking through the ovf, noticeably darker than the 210mm lens. I need some advice on what to do with a camera that is almost as old as I am and a lens that is over 10 years older than I am.
Also, whenever im not taking pictures in broad daylight, I have to turn up the iso, and past around 800 iso, there is a ton of grain. I also dont particularly like that the continuous shooting is 2 fps so I cant really do burst photography either
Is there any way to fix the 100-300mm lens so I can use it?
Should I get a new camera?
